I’m sure she said previously it wasn’t to do with him looking like Ryan and more to do with people thinking Ryan gosling is perfect and him being the perfect man for her aka her Mr G. I can’t remember exactly I could have made that up 🤣
 
I’m glad to read that Alex is going back to work. If it’s a job he enjoys then it will be a big help in returning some normality back to his life. Someone commented on my last post that I was telling him how to grieve which obviously I wasn’t at all. I was just thinking that perhaps he should merely step away from her Instagram account and look after himself, comments which other Tattlers have also made. Everyone grieves in different ways and he is surrounded by lovely family and friends who are who he needs to help navigate the next few days, weeks and months. There’s no time limit on grief and it is very very early days for him but what is weird about this account is things like a follower asking what Nicky’s last days were like…I wouldn’t ask a friend that never mind a stranger on the internet. These people aren’t family or ‘Instagramily’ they’re grief tourists. I’ve followed Nicky for years, back when she was still working and not long diagnosed. I had a friend going through the same thing and we both followed her. In all these years though I have never considered myself anything more than just a follower.

He should be using his own Instagram for updates. The traffic should have been redirected to his account. Just seems wrong seeing updates pop up on her Instagram now.

Because people were following for nicky. She was the cancer patient and it was her account following what was happening with her cancer. The vast majority of people, as awful as this may sound, aren’t really all that bothered what’s happening now that shes gone. Also Alex has zero charisma and isnt cut out for the whole instagram personality schtick.
 
Tbf about 90k extra followers, followed straight after Nicky passed away as minor celebs such as Solomon and Hinch shared the news on their accounts so obviously most of those hadn’t been following her in any case and were just so called grief tourists but agree he should now move his personal posts over to his own account and just update any outstanding projects she hadn’t completed on her account , I kind of feel for the guy tbh.

100% agree with all of this. Nicky is dead and gone. Alex will continue to haemorrhage her followers. Alex doesn't have cancer. No one is interested in him and the cat.
