I’ve been catcalled literally hundreds of times by fellas born and bred in Belfast, I’d be willing to bet you have too. I’d love to hear this posters concerns about that. Isn’t it amazing how this person has failed to actually consider the bigger picture and actual issue at hand here… attitudes towards women in general eg stereotypes in the workplace and home, how women are portrayed in the media, the emphasis on beauty- if you aren’t beautiful you aren’t anything, the porn industry and how readily accessible it is to young people, our inadequate education system. I could go on but no point cos the issue is Samir moving to Ireland to seek better opportunities for himself and his family.
God bleeping forbid we ever find ourselves in the grips of war or any natural disaster that would require us to go to our neighbours with our hands out and hope that we could rely on their basic human compassion.

Why are you absolutely fighting for your life to defend immigrants, imagine spending your Thursday night doing that.

So why are they fleeing non war countries? Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Pakistan, India ? There’s no wars there? Oh because he’s not coming to better his life, he’s coming with no documents, no skills but for a free life and to rape women.
