]Didn’t think I’d get upset and cry but here I am….

I thought it was well done even if some of it was a little rushed (I think the last month has been a little rushed in parts. It’s a shame in hindsight that they weren’t able to see the year out)

Glad J&K were only a bit part and the episode was left to the main cast. I did feel it odd that Kylie barely said a word though.

I wonder if the storyline with Mike being Sams father was a last minute thing or if it was a planned thing

I am going to miss it though. It’s only thing left on the TV that I’ve watched since childhood and it’s going to be a huge gap.

Ah ok, I assumed it was the finale, didnt realise dan was back for more thanone episode. Damn I should have got back into it sooner haha

It really was a great ending. But now I want a follow up series with Mike Jane Charlene and Scott all living back on the street
Mike and Jane yes, but not the other two. I felt like a lot of people only watched for them two, the people who said it had had its day, when it’s been better than ever in the last few years. It was nice having a lot of the old cast back, but they should have come back weeks ago and not for the final. I’m just glad they didn’t overshadow it too much.

I admit I've not watched it in many years but did watch for about 15 to 20 years from the beginning and I have a weird sense of loss, it was always there and now part of my childhood and world I lived in has gone. It really was a cultural phenomenon in the 80s and 90s

I think what I loved most about it was that it was like a thank you to the fans. So many surprises, memories, happy storylines, even dead characters coming to say goodbye. They did such a good job, I feel like it was a really good last episode.
That’s how I felt too. It was like a thank you to the fans over the years. All the previous cast returns, little nods to past stories and links, dead characters shown as remembered, characters we love getting their happy endings.

I think Mike being sam’s dad was only decided when he was coming back and they knew it was ending. Sam’s surname was Ellis originally. But it’s a really good way thag they linked him in.

ahhh I just love it ❤️❤️❤️ Just gutted its now officially over 😭

I know what you mean. Even if you didn’t watch all the time it was always just there to get back into

Anyone else annoyed with C5 showing home and away ads?
Yes this was a real slap in the face I thought! I won’t be tuning in to home & away

Thought the last episode was beautifully put together. Despite being heartbroken it has ended, I feel a genuine sense of closure because Paul/Terese and Jane/Mike ended up together.

The bits that really sent me into full cry mode were Susan’s monologue and then seeing Sonya standing with Callum, Nell and Hugo 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️

I liked it, i'm assuming cost was why we had so many mute characters.
I do wish they'd changed Amy's ending though & instead of Cairns she'd gone to wherever Lance is, then had the Lance scene as a facetime when she's back on the Street. Also wish we'd had a Timmins return as they were such a big part of the show & I think all the other big familys had a return

I always loved when previous characters came
Back. Wish some had been back properly not just in the background at the end. Though at the same time it worked the way they did it. Would’ve been less realistic if they just flung in older characters anytime (yes I know it’s not real) but them returning or sending messages for wedding/memory book made sense.

I liked the way they did Scott and Charlene coming back. Would’ve been good a bit more and would’ve liked seeing them with other friends and family. But at the same time I did like how cleverly it was done. I thought it was going to be they bought Chloe’s house.

Joel was on it a couple of nights ago to great Toadie
I wonder if they've blended some bits for
The worst thing about the final was Scott and Charlene, that was worse than Chelly.
Susan and Karl really got to me in the end, especially Susan, I’m sorry if I’ve already said all that.
The worst thing was how Kylie has crossed the line with 'enhancements'. It really showed up next to the likes of Jane and Susan. She looked really puffy and stretched.

Extremely!!
Yesss!! They’ve been doing it all week and feel it’s pretty mean.

Eastenders tiktok. I don’t watch it so don’t know if it’s in the actual episode. But I like that they did a little scene to neighbours.

I despised Sonya and loved Heather/Nanny Alice poisoning her with the short bread, but I have to admit I teared up seeing her with Callum, Nell and Hugo.
