I liked Monique when she was with nice Martin, then she turned so quickly when Ibiza Martin arrived. Very shallow, I think nice Martin would have had his heart broken by Monique if they’d been a couple. He doesn’t know it at the moment, but I think he dodged a bullet there. And when nice Martin walks out that house I predict there’s going to be so many lovely women wanting to know him, he deserves better.

He’s the least attractive out of the men, both physically and emotionally, I mean Ibiza is my happy place too but for goodness sake there’s plenty of cheap flights and accommodation out there particularly when the super clubs are shut, you don’t need to put up with his tit to enjoy the white isle girls!

He’s clearly not interested in a long term relationship, he’s lived there since 91 so won’t be returning anytime soon and since the dreaded B word the women can only spend 90 days out of 180 there unless they have an EU passport.
 
When they were all sat outside in the group Sharon’s whole body was turned away from Elliott. I really don’t think she is that into him as her body language said it all. She wouldn’t be going all strange on him so early on if there was some kind of spark

I would not have given him the time of day - we have lived in Spain for more than 20 years and met all these types of men but I suppose not knowing what they are like would have turned some heads.:cool:

Yes it’s so disappointed to see that women in their 40’s are often still as shallow as they were when young, this is what is wrong with so many women they chase wealth and status and why so many men like Ibiza Martin remain players, he’s not remotely attractive yet Martin H is attractive and has good manners but doesn’t seem to live the playboy lifestyle. Makes me think Monique not really after a long term relationship either, surely she’s met the Ibiza Martin types before, they never change.
 
I’m loving this show! I am in the age bracket of the kids and loving the dynamics but a lot of the things that have happened are cringy lol 😂 it’s really interesting to see two women swayed by Ibiza Martin… really think he’s just playing the two of them and feel sorry for his son.
 
I felt so sorry for the poor son, especially when the rest of the group were (rightfully) slagging his dad off.

As for “where’s the depth” they’re middle-aged and appearing on a reality show divulging their childhood stories, getting dressed up in school uniform and licking chocolate off strangers they’ve just met lmao, what do you expect!? This show might have plinky plonky music and Davina, but it’s still ITV and still has a touch of the Love Island

If there had been a live audience when they ‘get out’ like there was with Big Brother, I’m pretty sure Martin M and Monique would get booed. Feel particularly bad for Martin M’s son, he looks so embarrassed at his father‘s antics on screen. Right at the start I remember him saying “everyone just calls me Martin’s son”. Poor guy.
 
Martin M doesn’t strike me as a man who wants a relationship with a woman his own age, nor one who will really call him out on his behaviour. It’s sad that both these women projected a ‘take no tit’ attitude but in reality both were/are being played by an ageing lothario who has to drop in his wealth as it’s the most interesting thing about him.

I find Sharon immensely annoying, she’s just stringing along Elliott acting as though she’s so hurt and broken she can’t let her guard down when in truth she’s just not that into him. She looked really good tonight with her hair down rather than that scraped back (Croydon facelift) style which makes me wince because it looks so painful.

Martin H and Caroline were my favourites, it’s a shame they didn’t have a spark.
