I agree that Roger and Janey probably won't last but a bit of fun, flirting and maybe a snog (or more out of the show) could be good for them. Roger seems sad and like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders, still grieving, he's clearly not ready.

Tallulah seems OK so far, head screwed on. Caroline is lovely but doesn't look like this show will find her a partner.

Paul and Natalie seem nice but I've got a feeling it won't last the duration of this show, not sure why, just get a vibe she'll go off him.

Can’t remember who Clayton was on a date with now, a picnic I think it was and he was too full on for me then 😬 gave me the ick.
Agree Roger clearly not ready and it’s been quite difficult to watch from that point of view. Yes I can’t see who’s left out of the guys that Caroline might like? Clayton maybe I guess?? For a bit of fun?
Yeah I know what you mean about Natalie, I think during the paddle board date she fancied him physically but perhaps she’s trying to convince herself there’s more depth to him than there is. Not sure. I think she’s the most stunning woman there and such a lovely person too. I also have a bit of a thing for Elliot and he’d be my type if I was in there 🥰
 
I have lost so much patience for Monique too after last night, when it started I felt sorry for her then pleased when the original Martin turned up, she completely led him on, which is sad cos he seems lovely.

Caroline is an absolute gem, she deserves all the happiness in the world but clearly won’t find it here.

Natalie is so stunning, I did think Paul an odd match but looking at their kids, they could be siblings so perhaps he is her type after all.

I’m not keen on Janey for some reason, but she’s going to get burnt with Roger as he’s just too damaged atm.

I don’t understand why Sharon can’t commit to Eliott, hope they do work out and not just cos I have a massive crush on his son 😂

I think Talllulah and Ibiza Martin both love themselves so much neither needs anyone else.

Clayton just doesn’t fit the group dynamics, he’s older and not really attempting to hook up, that Sharon thing seemed just a throw away remark.
 
It’s too soon for Roger. He’ll prob end up sleeping with Janey but then feel incredibly guilty and worse and ghost her. Sharon and Essex man both seem a bit too insecure and too proud and wary of getting hurt so I don’t think it’ll work out. Talllulah and Ibiza dad will get it on, they both love themselves. Monique will remain single because she WILL NEVER LEARN.

The whole show is just interesting because even though they’re older and it’s less raucous, it’s really no different to love island. Women still drawn to the ‘bad boy’ red flag and men still unable to be honest or clear about what they want.
 
Roger is a sweetheart and was clearly deeply in love with his wife. Whether that's why he is how he is here (no doubt part of it as he seems so sad) or whether he does just lack charisma I don't know but other than his looks (he is totally my type) and his gentleness I dont think I'd be drawn to him. This is kind of a brutal process for him - why are his kids in such a hurry for him to find love again? They obviously love their dad and want him to get back into living his life but eeeesh, I wouldn't want to go anywhere near a relationship that soon. If he has some fun and a bit of a bunk up, then that's all good though.

Monique has her eyes turned easily. Someone else tall and confident could walk in and she'd be all "oh he's got my attention too".

Janey is a witch Caroline needs to sleep with one eye open ! Janey is blonde that’s it if she had brown hair Roger wouldn’t go there mans looking to transfer his wife and type not someone

Caroline is the best by far I love how she’s made them all feel welcome since day dot! She be cracking me up since day dot also I really want her to have her time now!

Taller Martin needs to cut Monique she really just turned real quick

I’ve just watched the 1st episode haven’t caught up on the thread yet . My 1st impressions are the women all look the same and Roger’s not ready .
 
I’ve cried every episode too 🥴 I just think it’s so sad that there’s so many damaged, fearful and hurt people out there and it’s quite depressing how accurate it is re. the dating world. I'm single and 44 so the age of these people (my kid is 6 though 😂) I see my future and it’s not great 🙃

Monique is 50 and the height of a man impresses her?!
 
Well Ibiza Martin practically got a hard on when she had her high wedges on 🤢

And yes, Monique is sweet but a bit of a daftie. Not sure she's learnt much. Still on about tall men.
