I have watched all 4 episodes and it is OK but think it has been spoiled by the entrance of the "Wayne Lineker" copycat last night. Overbearing braggart with his "you can all come and stay at my place in Ibiza when this is all over" going to be all about him now. I feel sorry for son who said he is know as his fathers son instead of himself back home in Ibiza and will have to listed to what the other kids say about his parent.
 
I'm still watching and enjoying it, apart from the bombshell aspect. I think they should all have been in together right from the start. I wonder if Monique will stick with the really nice tall guy or will have her head turned by ££££.

I felt really sorry for his son. He's only 18 and just walked in there to hear two of the other men taking the mick out of his dad. (Albeit that I agreed with what they were saying). They seem a really good bunch of kids, so hopefully they'll rally round him.
 
I'm watching although missed the night before last. All the people on it are attractive. There's no fatty or baldy or whatever so it's just like Love Island for older people lol. I felt sorry for the original Martin (I think is his name) as he clearly really likes Monique. If the new Ibiza dude is just like her ex (or was that what one of the other women said?) why isn't she just steering clear, I thought all her exes let her down. She is tempted though that much is obvious. I think Martin could end up very jealous and angry over it, don't know, just got a vibe. I think the Scottish lady (I really need to remember their names!) seems so nice but she's not going to get anywhere with Roger, he's evidently not attracted to her in that way and obviously fancies the tall blond lady, who seems nice. She seemed upset when Roger said he only felt a connection with her and the blond out of all them because I think she knows she's lost that competition. Ibiza dude is possibly going to just get annoying over time.

Also, how many more 'surprise' entrants are there going to be? 🙄 Or what other twist...
 
I guess you can’t go on this show if you don’t have a child that’s late teens or early twenties as they have to participate too. All the people are quite glamorous and have clearly styled.
I like the show because I’m roughly the same age.
 
I found the Ibiza guy’s website and he does seem to be a genuine Ibiza resident, involved in local politics and what’s best for the island, not like Wayne Lineker only jetting over for the season and staying in hotels.

His Instagram is quite aspirational with lots of travel but it’s him and his mates no young women with their boobs hanging out, so I’m prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt at this stage, he maybe came over badly being thrust in to an established group.

They do all seem like a more glam older version of the MAFS contestants. At least they get better accommodation than those London flats they shove the MAFS people in to.

Thing is we have this info but the people on the show don't so they have to take him at face value and I don't think he came over very well at all. Time will tell. :) I do like the school teacher and the women with her hair up.

In terms of what excites him about joining My Mum, Your Dad, he said: "I’ve always struggled meeting people who are on my wavelength. So, I thought, 'If they’re going to line up several single ladies, I’m in.' What’s not to like?"
As for what makes him nervous, he added: "Being offline. I run a business, I’m always on the phone, so that will be unusual."
Martin is hoping to find someone "intelligent, confident, driven, funny, laidback".
He said: "I don’t think me meeting the female version of me would go very well. Someone who can be supportive. Not too overly competitive. Just someone nice and normal and laidback."

Absolutely agree, original Martin is lovely, a real gentleman and she’s going to go after the other Martin isn’t she. Disappointing especially after she got upset the other day about never having found true love 🙄
Really like Elliot and Sharon, and Paul & Natalie, rooting for both couples to go the distance, altho Sharon still quite closed off. (Paul and Natalie’s children look like they might get close too 😯)
Clayton was totally deluded when he tried to muscle in on Sharon, found him a bit creepy on the dates he went on and wouldn’t have liked his full on sex talk, quite off putting. Can’t see him matching with anyone.
Janey and Roger will probably have a little flirt but both seem quite damaged, perhaps a fling might do them both some good.
I’d like Caroline to meet someone nice as she wasted a lot of time on Roger even tho he clearly didn’t fancy her 😔 so perhaps she could go with Martin the basketball player even tho there’s been zero chemistry there so far 😂
Too early to say about Tallulah as she hasn’t gone on any dates with anyone yet, but it seems like new Martin might be a playboy and prob waste her time.
It appears to me that men are either a one woman man or not even as they age which is interesting.
 
Monique getting on my nerves because she can't see what's good for her. That said, Ibiza dude said he'd been in a 20 year then 4 year relationship so he can do relationships. I didn't see the first half of tonight's episode so may have missed stuff about him though. Seems like the men are pulling him down a peg or two in the next episode. I missed the Clayton sex talk?!

I agree that Roger and Janey probably won't last but a bit of fun, flirting and maybe a snog (or more out of the show) could be good for them. Roger seems sad and like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders, still grieving, he's clearly not ready.

Tallulah seems OK so far, head screwed on. Caroline is lovely but doesn't look like this show will find her a partner.

Paul and Natalie seem nice but I've got a feeling it won't last the duration of this show, not sure why, just get a vibe she'll go off him.
