I'm catching up on the Ritz and ROH thread and it's just as glorious as I knew it would be. I started screenshotting posts but actually there are far too many to share. Just get a cup of tea, start from the beginning and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. In the red corner, IHaveNeverLivedInTheCastle. In the blue corner, YouCanCallMeBettyDraper. Waiting for the next round, bunnybunnybunnybunny and more players than I can list here. Oh my God it's amazing. Just... enjoy!!!
 
Thanks for pointing me towards the “Ritz” thread … a good laugh to start Sunday.

A classic “humble-brag” to start with.. followed by “I’m considerably more experienced in these things that you, dear” posts.

Of course the OP is just a humble doctor, from a humble back ground… who is able to spend about £10k on a 16th Birthday

How do you tell these people that NOBODY is interested, will notice, will remember, what they are wearing

I found the piss take post someone put up about being fingered on their 16th birthday hilarious .. some people have no sense of humour.

Heaven forbid that you look like a Northern interloper as well
 
The only Ritz I know is a cracker, upon which one spreads Dairylea.
Oh and there used to be a nightclub in Rhyl (seeing as fingering got mentioned) called Ritzi's. The dress code there was bare as much flesh as you dare and carry a condom.

Someone has mentioned The Corinthia Hotel and the only reason I (as a povvo in Wales) know of this, is through reading the Mark Wright & Michelle Keegan thread on here. It's their favourite hotel and they call it the Rinth.

There's a fish and chip shop not too far from me called ritz. It's the closest I'll get.

Used to go to the Ritzy. Got renamed Caesar's after a few years.

My mother was most displeased when she found out, mainly because it had been one of her old haunts with her husband as a teenager - and the sort of things he and her big brother got involved in were rather dodgy.

Didn't bother pointing out that I already knew most of the surviving/not actually inside Richardsons and associates due to 'Is your name...? Oh, I knew your Dad', so we were probably safer around there than most.

I wouldn’t do it because I would feel rude doing it. However if I saw someone else do it/if a retail assistant did it to me I wouldn’t assume they’re being rude if I noticed and thought anything I’d think maybe they had a germ phobia, had a skin condition, were vulnerable and didn’t want to catch any colds or viruses, found it easier to count out onto the table, hands were freezing, hands shake a lot.
 
The OP is getting her arse handed to her on the "DP's son making me feel like I'm in a relationship with both of them" thread. I think it's the first time I've ever thoroughly agreed with pretty much every response from the mumsnetters. Though why they keep asking her if she has her own kids is beyond me - I could tell from the first couple of sentences of her OP that she doesn't have her own kids and knows nothing about the topic. She sounds like a right piece of work. Feel sorry for the kid in this situation.
 
As a psychotherapist myself who also has a mental ill health diagnosis and who has also passed on Dmentals to my daughter i say tit like that all the time . I say “it’s insane , it’s mad “ etc. I’m bleeping woke too ! Trust me lots of dark humour with us mads .

She confirms that he does dress in women's clothes but that's not the kink.

Someone said something about wetting herself and she said she didn't want to turn him on so I'm guessing something along those lines.
