It's amazing. Among many other things is the highly cultured sophisticate wanging on about how if you wear the wrong thing, people will know you're from "out of town". Bloody hell, Drusilla, have you ever stood on Piccadilly for ten seconds? It's brimming with people who aren't even from Britain, like the whole city. And no tit people who stay overnight at the Ritz probably don't live eight miles away in Finchley. And London is nothing if not diverse; people wear all sorts of stuff there. Yes, you'll probably get a different fashion vibe overall in Camden than in Mayfair, but there's no sodding London uniform where we can tell you're out of town by the hot air balloon your daughter's wearing, nor does anyone give a tit.

God I love that thread. It's bullshit, obviously, but it's bringing out the Drusillas beautifully.

She was moaning about her trying to get rehoused by the council yesterday - strangely, despite MARAC involvement, he's known where she lives for a good few months and the council are questioning why they've made a point of staying at the same school even the daughter went to and the GS joining the same one because it suited Shithole, meaning he probably knows exactly where to find them anyway. Can see their point - there's not a great deal of point moving somebody if they're going to keep returning to the easily identifiable place - it's supposed to be agreed that a MARAC move is an absolute 'never ever returning to the area', not 'well, my Mum can't be arsed to sort out a shorter journey where nobody will know us, so we'll just claim that it was never, ever mentioned that we all go or went to exactly the same school and it doesn't count. Now, what about that new house?'.


Perfect time to book a holiday.

I love that she still blames the DIL and not the son. Also why even remark that the DIL doesn’t seem to enjoy breastfeeding? Little judgemental swipes in almost every post from the OP.

One MN thought it was ‘telling’ the child had gone to grandma. Until OP drip fed that while they adjust to the new house her son had been sleeping in the room beside the grandchild (before she came to stay) so likely the little boy went in assuming he could find his Dad.

Also one of them has a baby boy and says she’s already worried he will marry someone with a different parenting style to her 💀 (doesn’t even entertain the idea that her own son might have a different parenting style!)
 
You wasteful lot, with your daily showers!! What about saving the planet? What a waste of electricity! I NEVER shower, ever. Just a wipe down with a damp flannel once a month keeps me pristine.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to start a 'woe is me' thread in AIBU about how all my friends are distancing themselves from me, and I don't know why. ;)
