I saw that, I thought it was really weird she’s so upset by it, isn’t that normal? Hi dad, I missed your call? Ooh what were you up to? That’s just normal to me. Also when she answers the phone in their car and they ask where she’s going, that’s normal isn’t it? Of course her parents are worried about appointments, interested in her life and friends etc bloody hell.
 
Chuffing hell. I ask my kids when they say they were busy or they're going / been somewhere, my mum asks me, I mean it's a normal course of conversation isn't it?

Waiting for an ambulance because your daughter has collapsed with constipation, so you post all about it on MN instead of comforting her, really? REALLY?
That poster is either talking bollocks or she's completely weird.

I noticed a lot of poo related threads. Maybe the poo troll has decided on a new angle? Constipation rather than crappy knickers?

Exactly! I looked at the timing of her posts.

10.01 am “my kitchen is such a mess. It’s the worst it’s been. I know I need to clean it but.. I’m going to time myself how long it takes me”.

10.43 am “The kitchen is 95% done and I also made a chicken stew”.

all this angst over a kitchen that took less than 42 minutes to clean.

AIBU to demand that my DH replies to my messages, despite him being in the middle of the war?
AIBU to demand that my DH asks his sergeant to change his hours so he can help with our children's bedtime?
AIBU to demand that my DH tells his sergeant that he can't work away from home?

I read that thread too and saw the typical MN behaviour of someone getting confused because they couldn’t understand what the OP was talking about because she was using the terms “text” and “WhatsApp” interchangeably and they couldn’t follow the story 🙄

Remember these are the people with 100k jobs but no common sense it seems
 
Shithole's now claiming she's allowed to hack out bannisters from her housing association property. You know, like the things that stop people dying from falling off the side of their stairs. Oh, and there's more carpet and furniture to dispose of.

For somebody who was claiming last Saturday to need more time to pay her flytipping penalty (but then had the money within a couple of seconds of the thread going quieter) and couldn't possibly afford to get the great mounds of crap disposed of legally in the first place, she has got so much bleeping cash rolling around, it's ridiculous.

When the Ukrainian war was all over the news there was a thread on Mumsnet about nuclear war. They were discussing what they had in their ‘escape bags’ they had passports, water, first aid kit etc. I don’t know what they think nuclear war will be like but I think they’re in for a shock if they think passports and plasters are going to help.

They’ll be having an existential dilemma- send all men, especially ex husbands/deadbeat dads off to war and get rid.

but then they need to exempt their baby boys who of course are so loving and not at all like those other men.

it’s the immigrant thing all over again. Stop them all, except for their DD’s boyfriend who should be allowed to move over with her, oh and that nice Mrs Hussain who brings over sweet treats for Ramadan, because they’re not racist, oh no.
