The more I read about influencers the more I see how mercenary the Meldrums really are.

Lee's Instagram is now sooo transparent to me, that picture of his roast dinner, asking the sheep to tell him what is missing, is such an obvious ploy to increase his "engagement figures" so he can charge more for advertising.. And the sheep are falling for it like lemmings, nearly 100 answered...I feel like shouting at the screen..."he doesn't care", " he doesn't give a tit about your opinion or chatting with you, you are all statistics that he will use to demand more money for his advertisement.

Mrs Meldrum never replied to anyone on Instagram until after the DLP affair and now she is replying 'thanks hun' to half a dozen sheep at a time again sole to increase engagement.

The sheep at just numbers that they are using to make money.

And to anyone who feels they were taken in by this scam...please don't feel bad, it is human nature to want to trust people who manifest them selves as our friends, even more so at times in which we are perhaps more isolated, like maternity leave. The important thing is we now see them for what they are.

I am confident that as time goes on this will get more exposure in the press and more people will get wise to it. I am also confident that legislation will change in terms of use of children in these scams.

I do think their days are numbered. We will look back on this the way we look back on children in cars with no seatbelts on....

I also remember in an old Mrs M vlog walking down to Banchory Lodge (the one where Pat shoved an ice cream up her nose) she obviously sees someone who she doesn’t like or who clearly doesn’t like her and says to Lee “did you see who that was”? It’s so rude and pretty bitchy to put that on your own video especially when your the one walking down the high street filming yourselves looking like twats.

Howeverrrrrr, it did look awfully like she was in that video, I remember being disgusted as obviously during that time everyone was absolutely sympathetic about the issues surrounding her pregnancy with Poppy.:confused:

the video pat shared last night I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s trying to get work with Maynards the way he was showing off those wine gums. Her whole feed yesterday, grid and stories was nothing but ads, gifted items and affiliate links. “Here I am using the lovely Elemis pro-collagen cleansing balm, I love it it’s amazing! That with the eh Olay um like spf moisturiser stuff I’ve been using....” wow! What a sell for Olay - you know the product she was paid to advertise less than a week ago ? it really beggars belief. Hope someone from Olay watches her waffle. I’m sure they will be delighted to have a product that compliments so well with another brand! I mean, it’s not like Olay don’t have face washes themselves.

You could not paint a red face on this woman!

I don’t remember him filming the name if the paint, although you could see it was dark tins and f&b. Or do you mean B&Q? Cynical me would suggest they’re making sure they’re just getting themselves noticed by the big homeware/DIY brands, even when there isn’t an obvious partnership right now - let them know they have a whole house to do up... and hey presto, maybe they’ll be so so fortunate!

She’s TERRIBLE at ad disclosure. Did you see her Bobbi Brown ad the other week? I say ad, because loads of influencers all got the free make over so was obviously a campaign, but she didn’t mention it was gifted or anything. Just made out she went and got her make up done at the counter all by herself. She’s a complete sell out lately. Used to like her but she has lost all originality now that she does so many ads.
