Model gossip #2

Does anyone know whether there’s any reason why Claudia Schiffer is avoiding the Lagerfeld renaissance at the moment? She was such a well known muse that I would have expected to have seen her at the Met Gala or on the recent Vogue cover

It looks like they had a falling out at one time. Not sure if they made up:

Emily Blunt was the same I thought, just ever so slightly off their usual look
Emily Blunt’s fillers were so distracting in a few scenes in The English. She’s gone overboard with the tweaks. Also wish she would get rid of the hair colour.

Face like a boiled egg.
I like that she’s got rounded features!
Has Kate really had a face lift recently? Does anyone have a side by side because I can’t see it myself, feel like I’m missing something

She wouldn't get a look in if it wasn't for her famous Mum but she's not plain either IMO
To me, she’s either bang on average or ever so slightly below average for girls her age who are of/close to a healthy weight but she has the potential to look mildly pretty in some angles and I’ve seen a few photo shoots of hers where the makeup etc elevates her further. I guess because a high proportion of people are overweight nowadays (which often, but not always, has a negative impact on their features/looks) she’d probably rank slightly higher than average compared to the whole population of those her age. Though, I appreciate beauty is subjective and if you don’t personally think she’s plain that’s fair.

Back in the 90s, I remember reading about Karl Lagerfeld dropping Claudia Schiffer as his main muse for Chanel and replacing her with Stella Tennant.
I remember he said something like: "her (Claudia) beauty belongs to another time, another place".
This was when the waifs were still going.
Claudia Schiffer did not take it well.
Of course, the arrival of Gisele put an end to the waifs in 1998.

Lila is pretty but Kate was so photogenic due to her bone structure and slightly far apart eyes

yeah they were kind of moving away from the claudia bombshell look to the waifs during that time, so ti would make sense for him to drop her (mean though) as his muse!

i must admit that the super skinny eastern european model era in the early - mid 2000s is still the most fascinating to me out of all of them

There was a slew of waifs in 1993 - 96 but not all of them were worthy of the title of supermodel.
Kate Moss is always interesting to me but I had no interest in the likes of Emma Balfour, Rosemary Ferguson or Stella Tennant.
Even Amber Valetta and Shalom Harlow never engaged me.
I preferred the original supermodels too.
