Sorry for the essay but it's something that's really bothering me at the moment, tbh I don't know why he's acting bad for I will just log into his socials and delete the photos if he does put them up & do him vegetarian dinners as a domestic cold war tactic but nonetheless, bleeping annoying to deal with.

Enjoying a well earned holiday- I'm ashamed to be able to know who these kids are at a glance ( I couldn't spot my youngest in a group of his pals at the park yesterday 🙈)

Back when I was very young and thought I was cool I was the Editorial Assistant (basically buying lunches for staff to eat in the teeny office at the top of the building) on the launch team for Red, the 3 other people creating the concept were real art and cultural heavy weights, it's saddening and disappointing how ideas become diluted in murky waters, especially when there could be so much potential and opportunity to develop into better.
 
Wonder where sly is? Not like him to be missed out of photo ops! Could have been a nice way for him to test the waters of gram. This lady must be mad though, if any of these pics make it on to the gram rather than stories with the Sods in she may face extreme backlash, which won’t do Red any good!!

So true. Don’t know why people think it’s ok to share photos of other peoples kids on social media.
I’m really not trying to be a snob about this, but camping in Kent isn’t quite the same as a luxury house in Cornwall or one of their previous gifted stays abroad. I know they’ve lost all the cred they had, but maybe they’re actually living within their normal means now? This is far more relatable than any of the other stuff they did. Shame they couldn’t have been more grounded all along. Wouldn’t have lost their crowns if so. Also why don’t any of these people actually engage with the criticism? Like Sarah? She could’ve just said I get your point and you’re right, but she’s my friend and I’m standing by her. Or whatever else is true? The delete and block is ridiculous.

My mind is blown but yeah perfectly possible I think? 🤣 your friend gets my vote 💯 *edit to... On reading further comments from you all I'm learning so much right now from this insight about the levels these people go to, it must be exhausting! And why don't they just leave it alone.

I think it means that maybe your ‘Friends’ first burner has been restricted or muted and only the ‘Friend’ can see it? We need a real expert here to help! Where’s @heretoreaditall2019 shes very good with techy stuff! 🧐 can we get a clue as to where one might find this? Purely for research purposes of course 😉

Hmmm 🤔 who would be able to “restrict” my friends comments? Would that be the account holder, say Clemmie or Sly or would it be the person on who’s comment I replied OR CHINESE HACKERS? Obvs wouldn’t be the Hoopers as they are reflecting and educating themselves.

I imagine you would find such comments, if they existed, on the House of Hooper thread. I imagine they would have only been posted a couple of days ago at most and I imagine they would have been responding to followers proclaiming people needed to move on or “y’know” do something better with their lives!

This is like opening your GCSE exam paper and you're trying to figure out what time the train arrives & with how many people on it, I THINK it sounds as if your 2nd burner's comment may have been hidden but not deleted? I think that's a new functionality Insta have given blue tickers but not 100% sure, or it's been reported so hidden in visibility but not yet moderated/deleted?

ETA: I made a burner account inspired by you for watching Jack Monroe's instagram lives & for my Instagram scraping scripts so my actual Insta doesn't get banned for breaking ToS, anyway I've even done it up so it looks like something legit but I'm too scared to follow the private accounts I wanted to snoop LOOOL I'm literally shooketh that someone could pin it back to me!!!

I imagine it’s still there on my first burner account. Will they be able to triangulate me my friend? Will they get JM on the case? I was would have been particularly proud of my comments as the particular follower has a very open business account with two BLM posts which were quoted back to her. It must have stung!

yeah there is comment filtering, I think it looks as if you’ve been hidden!

Couldn’t agree more. Think she’s overrated personally. Can someone explain to me who it’s funny to be making cocktails during the day while your 4 young daughters (🤭) are in your care? Hate that whole mummy drinking culture. All the instamums are hypocrites and only have morals about this when it suits them.

Agree re drinking. Everyone is entitled to have a drink or two to unwind but the glamorisation/ promotion/ slummy mummy hilarity or it all does me head in. it’s the fact that it’s only seen as ok because they are middle class, have an expensive house and are drinking cocktails or gin. if they were swigging from a bottle of white lightning in a council house people wouldn’t find it so entertaining.
