Guys, Camp Bestival haven't dropped them. Well, they've dropped her but FOD is doing some quiz thing. HATE WATCH PARTY?

@Dogmuck I’m desperate to read your stuff but the link @heretoreaditall2019 put up has people chatting about nuggets and chips?? Confused! Thanks too @heretoreaditall2019 I got stuck down the Jack Monroe threads... I’m loving it!

Eurgh mate I’ve been meaning to come and explain this - sorry guys I’ve been massacring a garden to work through my lockdown anger - the moderator decision was not to allow for side topic threads lest it becomes too cliquey... I’ll edit with the link once I’ve posted this so you can all see their thought process (which I can appreciate completely).

What do we all think is the best thing to do? Like that thread is already active and whilst they’ve been welcoming I imagine it’ll end up jarring for both of us if we’re doing open mic nights asking barristers to share traumatic pedalo stories alongside someone wanting to share a picture of their chicken nuggets?

There are other means of chatting, a forum feels best suited to us all though as you can dip in/out I think a chat room would be far too much. I can look into solutions for how I could set such a thing up but I’d worry it would be in breach of T&Cs to encourage people off platform and I love it here so would never wanna duck with that! But then the chat is just girl chat, not tattle’s bread and butter influencer gossip chat, so arguably the only apt place for it to exist is off platform? I’m not sure and would very much like your feedback before doing anything either way pls!

I agree with @skronkywildcat - we could vote if it were acceptable to allow off topic chat here as well? I mean, obviously when FOD deigns to post yet another wise and insightful social commentary tome or misfired comedy LOLs sketch, we can all throw ourselves upon it like jackals and discuss it until the cows come home!
But in those quieter, FOD-barren (and indeed MOD-barren times) we could agree that it wasn’t too offensive to chat off topic for fun... as long as it didn’t piss off anyone, or breach any Tattle rules...?

Actually agree this is likely the best solution, just intermixing the two?

Ultimately the only solution is an IRL post covid garden party #sponsored by M&S’ taste of summer range but until that materialises.... 🤷🏻‍♀️

Surely it's just full of insta begs who've either blagged free tickets or are hoping to accelerate their insta brand to the next level with Bestival content? I assume we'll see multidad there this year? Free content idea: multidad goes to bestival to film a stan inspired music video oriented around FOD (instead of eminem)? It would actually be jokes tbf, I'd follow him for it.

I nearly broke my ankle in a pair years & years ago, the flatform ones that had an inch thick sole? There was no bleeping flex in the things, fell over in a shithole area that has loads of disgusting butchers that stink so bleeping bad and the food hygiene agency cannot be aware of their existence, and subsequently spent the whole weekend anxious about god knows what I'd contracted through the grazes on my hands. I still wore them just had to limit my stride length down to a mere shuffle.
