This was a weird video even by Michael standards. Recap:

he sips his coffee/tea and goes “mmm” three times
someone asks about his necklace. He says he found a fossilized sand tiger sharks tooth on the beach. He said it’s his lucky charm and he wears it constantly. It reminds him of the importance of time what ever the duck that means. He repeated “ideas on how we can do things together” 11 bleeping times. He was playing a video game and he kept saying “a game not like this one” playing games “helps me think”. He repeated 4 times how much fun he and Michelle had at the Kennedy Space Center. He said “I’m not a gaming streamer” 6 times. He remarked about his recent magic band review video “I was very honest and Disney doesn’t like it when I’m super honest” yup he said that. They guessed if Capek would show up at D23. He ended with figuring out how the community could do things together again.

I had breakfast with Chapek this morning. The first subject we discussed was, you guessed it, Michael Kay. The Disney board of directors is concerned that Michael's continued negative spin on WDW is driving the company bankrupt. WDW does like his ride squealing, however, and they are still very satisfied that he spread covid to tens of thousands of WDW guests. Chapek stuck me with the breakfast tab, OF COURSE, but as he was leaving he asked if I could try to get the Tattlelife community to let Michael know that Disney execs watch his video religiously and generally do their 5 year planning around his comments. So here it is, I hope it gets read.

I feel like the truest statement from this story is that Chapek stuck you with the bill 🤣
 
I must hate myself
I've watching some old Michael videos. His smugness of being a Florida resident is such a turn-off. He went to opening day of Galaxy Edge and showed nothing. He ate at Oga's Cantina and left. He went to opening day at Toy Story Land and showed very little. You know what was in every frame? His big fat head. Michael failed because he made his videos about Michael, not the Disney product. He never prepares. He just wings it and you can tell. The reason so many Disney vloggers like Michael failed is because they believed that they were the draw and not Disney. Pride cometh before a fall.

He probably thought he could solely rely on his hot good looks.
 
Good thing I wasn't watching the Music After Dark video to gain any knowledge about the event...except for 'there's so much food'. Michael always says 'I'm here with friends' but we rarely see any. I wonder what will be the point that he decides it's not worth his effort. Maybe he won't ever decide that and he'll just keep uploading and pretending. I think he struggles very hard to fit in with others- he said he'd be dancing and singing along and I just don't believe it. He's socially awkward and doesn't want to be. He's like the person who walks in a room trying to fit in but is even more awkward . He doesn't have to. You can be your own person, just be happy and genuine in who you are and what you love.

This SCREAMS asshole at best, abuser at worst. Putting aside the fact that there’s no way Disney gives a single tit what Michael thinks, this language is super creepy. “It’s not my fault if you don’t like my honesty” is what people say when they want to justify being a dick.

Apparently, Michael, what Disney actually doesn’t like is when you lie about your vaccination status and film yourself flagrantly violating their rules and making money off of the views. Bummer.
