tit, I was hoping that someone had already posted about michael's video today, how to save on a cruise. After 4 hours, only 500 views. Only 2000 views on yesterday's video. Those aren't good numbers. I can't do a real review, I forgot to pay attention while it was playing.

Michael is my go to guy to save money, yessirree. One of the tips I liked was his idea that you don't get the photo package on the ship, it is expensive. Michael has done many, many photo packages. He has raved about them. Now they are too expensive. Looks like a failed youtube channel has a different economic outlook than a successful one. Michael never had a lot of subscribers, but they were loyal viewers, I was one. oh...my...god, I still am :poop:

Thanks for watching. I couldn’t bring myself to hate watch another green screen with Michael. I guess it’s a bad sign when you can’t get hate views. I’m not giving up on Dave yet.
 
Michael's money saving cruise tip video epitomizes YouTubers who suddenly decide that they are experts because they have done something once. I've been on a lot more cruises than Michael and I don't consider myself an expert. He's been on three cruise lines and suddenly he's an authority. There are so many YouTubers who do this and it's bleeping annoying. Sit down and shut up. You are not experienced enough to be an expert.

Honestly, I'm not sure he knows who his channel is for at this point.
I watched the video today. I can't help but ask, "Why do you only do one take of the audio?"
He's clearly recording it at home. He could easily write something out before hand or at least rerecord things he stumbled over. It's something simple that would make the video somewhat better. He could look up things he's not sure about, but that might take a little more time and effort.
Also, I feel like people commenting don't know why they're watching anymore. They say the video is great and he's the best but most don't elaborate on why. They just have to tell themselves and Michael that this is a good use of everybody's time.

Yep.

There is NO WAY Michael is making any money on YouTube.

So... His Mom is probably sponsoring him and the other two (zeros)... Hence, she is with them ALL THE TIME!

There is no doubt that Daddy Kay has given these kiddos money as well, but gets no credit.

Good point. Michael promotes his channel as a family channel and he babbles about kids activities. One group of people who are uniquely unable to book vacations at the last minute? Families with children. Nine months of the year are out of consideration for families with children for last minute booking because of school. That limits the family to booking in the summer, it's a limited time with millions of others in the same situation. The schedule for hauling kids around, even during the summer, is mind boggling. I thought I had successfully repressed it, your comment made it come rushing back.

Not to mention that booking that close to sail date doesn’t happen like it used to. 48 hours before sail date, the list of passengers must be finalized. If memory serves me, this was a result of tightening security after 9/11. If I am misguided please let me know!

Just watched Michael's Saturday installment... Like you all have mentioned, who the HE🏒🏒 is this supposed to be addressed to?? Absolutely NO inside, expert advice. Just NOTHING.

This has to be some kind of release for him. Makes him feel important, and it's therapeutic. I cannot believe he is so deft to think his rambling is at all impactful??

I'm honestly feeling a bit guilty by watching and bitching about him at this point. Something ain't right with him.

Most people have jobs or required duties and can’t just take off for a last minute cruise. His tip only applies to vloggers like him who essentially have time off whenever they feel like it. He can call himself self employed, but the way he operates it’s more like unemployed.

Right! We all have jobs (gotta request time off), dogs or kids who may not be traveling and need to go places, and lastly airfare. Hardly any adult with any responsibility can book last minute. Sometimes they still aren’t deals becaus they don’t typically have drink packages (obviously not important if one doesn’t drink).

With the views that he's getting he's probably still bringing in somewhere in the neighborhood of $900 to$1K a month and I don't know how much he makes on Patreon. It's all a far cry from what he was making and isn't enough to live on especially with all the stuff he pays for try and make content even if he can write a lot of it off.
 
I finally got around to watching the Cheap Date episode with Dave. Here are some of my take-a-ways:

-Dave appeared very normal, minimal hand and face gestures- no accents. He claims he is “business analyst”.

-The woman he was paired with is also an “influencer”. She has less followers than Dave but spends a lot of her time traveling, Disney and Disneyland. She also likes to pose in bathing suits (aka, out of Dave’s league). The episode didn’t air those details though. Her IG: https://instagram.com/xoxoashslay?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

-She asked for a second date, which makes me either think 1. This episode was 100% fake, with two creators, to promote local Orlando establishments (obviously also the point of the show lol) or 2. Dave really thought she was into him/she was and that was his “girlfriend” of two weeks. She may have been into him since he put on a facade of a jet setter, including that he spent a week in Hawaii and was a “business analyst”. I am sure once she went home and saw some Twitch and Gem videos, she ended it. Or 3. Both options above.
