So all this word salad to say: he’s gonna record content then do a voice over editing using a computer because he wants to try something new since his channel is failing.

Exactly. Molly, formerly with all ears, went out on her own and created a new channel. I get she’s not for everyone but I’ve never seen her do a green screen with a computer. Her “boring” way generated some interest to the tune of $28.5k per month = $342k annually. She’ll pay more in taxes than Michael could ever make. BTW, having my life as punishment according to Michael is pretty damn fun.

I watched Michaels video yesterday and the patreon offering (thanks so much for that!!). But I just can't write anything, maybe the next one. It's pathetic, I think maybe I've reached a level where I have empathy for someone who is objectively despicable, that's how low he has sunk.

That said, I just checked, each of his last 4 youtube offerings has fewer than 3k views. Ow. He used to get 10k+ per video. I'd feel bad about that, but I can't help but remember him during the covid lockdown prancing through WDW wowing at the lack of crowds because millions of people worldwide were dying. And then he violated WDW's masking rules and he became a spreader of covid. It's ok that he doesn't care about himself (his food/sugar consumption at Universal during the Maroon 5 concert event was prodigious even by michael standards) but his lack of caring for others is obvious and a real turn off to the concept of his own humanity.

Odd question here. How did you get the total number on Patreon as well as amount made per month?
 
Just watched the Maroon 5 vlog. Full disclosure, I’m not a Maroon 5 fan and don’t care for Adam Levine’s voice, looks, or personality in the first place, but WOW he sounds horrible live.

I think my favorite part was Michael looking directly at the camera and pointedly singing the one line of the one Maroon 5 song he knows, to convince us he’s a real fan.
 
Random thoughts:

Dave did come across as fairly normal on that stupid reality show which is unfortunate because I was really looking forward to it as a hate watch. The host was actually more annoying than he was. Having said that, his fake/forced/nervous laughter was a little grating. I’m also in the camp that believes this was the “girlfriend” he was referring to in that simp ass video he made last year. Dave, if you ever manage to get another girlfriend, maybe don’t make a video gushing about that fact that you got a girlfriend.

Speaking of Dave, not that this is anything new but it’s clear he has no idea what he wants his channel to be. All he knows is he wants to be famous. It’s never going to happen. His lack of focus and direction is one reason of about 500. Right from the start I saw him as riding his brother’s coattails just to get followers and never believed he was that into Disney or theme parks. He basically admitted this in a recent video yet now he’s back to making videos with Disney in the title in a desperate attempt to get views. Historically, his Disney videos did get the most viewed but a lot has happened since then and he wasn’t able to sustain what little momentum he had. He even has that lame castle intro again. It’s so pathetic.

Michael isn’t even worth hate watching anymore. He offers literally nothing. My mind goes blank when I watch him. He also has no clue and is desperate for views. He mentions in the Patreon video how oversaturated the vlogging community has become, and he’s not wrong, but he also used to be among the channels worth watching and still could be if he knew what the duck he was doing. He blew it. So many other channels have surpassed him in both quality and viewership and he’s only pivoting because he’s trying to cling onto what little popularity he has left. It isn’t going to work. That’s what you get for being a smug, know it all asshole who actually knows nothing, Michael. Thanks for letting me get that bile out.

Also, are there any other creators who make more “future of my channel/my channel is changing” videos than these dweebs? It never sticks anyway. Remember when Dave was “done vlogging” and then put out another vlog a few days later and literally nothing about his channel wound up changing?

One more thought: what’s with pimping out Michelle in videos so much? Whenever she is in either of their videos, her name is always in the title like it’s some huge draw. I have nothing against her, but it isn’t like she’s some beacon of entertainment. “PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO, MY SISTER IS IN IT!!!”

Also, why the duck does Michael act like he’s seeing some legendary rock band or something at that Maroon 5 show? You can like them, but they are what they are and he acts like they’re Led Zeppelin or something which they aren’t. I don’t buy for a second either that he’s actually a fan. I think he just had the opportunity to go and he lives such a sheltered life that being out at night at a concert with a crowd of people that aren’t in line to ride Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin is living on the edge for him. In fact, if you think back on his New Years Eve videos at Epcot, whenever he shows the little dance party areas he has that same sort of “I’M OUT HERE LIVING IT UP!!!” vibe going. Dude, it’s bleeping Epcot.

Well said. This is a guy who, in the past, repeatedly told us that he primarily listens to Disney park background music (also probably an exaggeration to make himself seem like more of a Disney authority, when that was his brand). Now we’re suddenly supposed to believe that he’s a diehard fan of a generic pop band that he’s never mentioned liking before, that just so happens to be playing at an event that he just so happens to score an invite to? Yeah, okay. Michael is like a genetically defective chameleon who tries to change himself based on what he thinks will get him the most attention at any given time, but no matter how hard he tries, he’s still just a rapidly aging failed YouTuber with a Tommy Bahama shirt that belongs on a 60 year old man and a shark tooth necklace that belongs on a 12 year old boy. And speaking of the shark tooth, who else doesn’t believe for a second that he found it on the beach? Are we really supposed to believe that Michael, who is famously terrified of sharks and who can’t even be bothered to do basic research for his content creating “job” from the comfort of his computer chair, actually a) got off his ass and went all the way to the beach, then b) found a shark tooth, and c) had both the desire and the follow-through to have it turned into a necklace (because we know he didn’t do that himself)? I’m just saying, it’s more likely he just picked that thing up at a gift shop, courtesy of his very generous friends.

Wow, it felt good to get that bile out. I’m glad Michael diagnosed that issue for us. I guess when he’s not on the road as a Maroon 5 groupie, he’s busy being an old-timey medieval doctor using leeches to balance people’s humours.
 
This is also the same guy, that up until he was invited to Epcot as "media", had NEVER taken in a concert at Epcot during a festival. EVER. It was part of the media schedule for the day which included priority seating, that made him actually sit down for the free concert. I haven't seen him once attend or mention any musical acts since. There are tons of well known musicians playing at the most magical place for FREE, and he can't even bother to enjoy. If it's not all about him, he doesn't care. He probably only listens to his parents self help books on audio :)

There is no doubt in my mind he found it at one of those kitschy gift shops on I-Drive. That same necklace had probably been hanging from a rack since 1997. There is also no doubt in my mind that he thinks he’s hot wearing it. I anticipate it will be prominently featured in the shirtless footage on his upcoming Alaskan cruise. Whether it be a vlog or B-roll footage, there is no way we won’t be subjected to his sensual water twirling.

Oh no… shirtless shark tooth is a horror I hadn’t even considered until now. I shudder to think of the screenshots that await us.
 
Kyle Pallo just did the Margaritaville 2-night cruise, just because it was super cheap. He & his "friend" got a BOGO deal on it for around $280/pp total. That sounds completely in Dave's budget, so I would totally pay for the two brothers to take that cruise to watch that vlog. That, would be epic. Michael would have a nervous breakdown.
 
So, here's the thing about that damn shark tooth necklace. Back in October 2021, he did a vlog from Juno Beach. He was beyond excited because he claimed to find a shark tooth. And yes, I am ashamed that I actually know this information - I really should not know when and where Michael Kay found a shark tooth. Shoot me now. :rolleyes:
