I believe wires are crossed. Two items were missing from the scene that were there when the emergency services first arrived- the pool thermometer and a shed handle. It’s thought the pool thermometer was what caused SL’s injuries.
 
I see he's been on a right rant on Twitter, talking about suing ITV and again asserting that Stuart's injuries didn't happen at his house. Essex Police would beg to differ. He's also claiming that when he left the scene, it was only to a neighbour's house next door, when it's well documented that it was to the home of one of the guys at the party - either Simon Shaw or James Futers. Also his solicitor asserts in a letter to ITV that it was Michael who rang the emergency services. It's on bloody tape, which was broadcast on "Body in the Pool" that - Justin Merrit allegedly made that call. Unless Barrymore also made a separate call but I'm sure that recording would be available if so.

I haven’t seen his Twitter rant, but it always speaks volumes to me that he is so adamant that Stuart’s injuries did not occur at his home.

By Barrymore’s own admission, he barely knew most of the people who were at his house that night, and he wasn’t there when Stuart collapsed/died. So how can he be so certain that none of these people, previously unknown to him, were incapable of harming Stuart?? Particularly as he claims that he wasn’t with them to witness what went on?

*That should have said “none of these people were capable of harming Stuart”…but you catch my drift!

I just know that if I had invited a bunch of randoms to my home, drink and drugs being consumed into the early hours, and someone had died while I wasn’t present, then afterwards I was shown forensic evidence of their catastrophic injuries indicating a savage sexual assault and murder, I would accept that one of those strangers who I’d invited into my home, must have committed this heinous crime. And I would do everything humanly possible to uncover the truth and expose this savage rapist and murderer.

Yet more than 20 years on, Barrymore still defends those people previously unknown to him, still preferring to blame NHS staff and argue with the forensics.

He knows exactly what happened, otherwise he wouldn’t be so keen to say that it didn’t!

One of the most sickening things about his rant was that he brought the Lubbock family into it, saying that they were waiting for the truth and ITV were making things worse for them. Cracking on that he cares so much, and yet he allegedly blocks anyone who asks him to share the poster and phone number that Essex police put out appealing for any info. That doesn't scream wanting the truth out to me, nor does it display an interest in the Lubbocks' wellbeing. No Michael I think you've made things worse by yourself, you and the other people at the party, by not divulging anything of consequence that you know.

I have only just seen that there is a thread on this. Such a sad situations for Stuart’s family, especially his poor dad. I have read the links that have been put on here also. A few things confused me. Michael Barrymore saying in statements that the women were in the kitchen, he was in one bedroom with some men & his partner was in another room with some men? So Stuart was on his own all night in the garden? & did I read somewhere that the only two gay people at the party were Michael Barrymore & his partner? I know people do such depraved things but why would the straight blokes want to participate in something like that? I understand drugs could have played a part. But a straight man wanting to be a part of raping another man. I think Micheal Barrymore & his partner are the ones that know what happened that night as I suspect it was them two. & I’d never known about the penis injuries. How on earth that was thrown out. I really hope one day Stuart’s family get to the truth. It’s horrific.

Also it’s not just GenZ following him on TT. Lots of people of all ages saying how much they miss seeing him on TV and wish he’d make a come back. He admits that no TV company will ever work with him again though

his ex is disgusting. Selling stories on them having a great night when at the end of it someone had died.
 
I agree they all know/took part otherwise they would have thrown someone under the bus first chance they had. Especially to save his career.

On a side note his TikTok is the weirdest thing I’ve seen? Who enjoys watching him for him to get so many followers? He’s just a sad, boring old man with a little dog doing naf all? Certainly isn’t any justice in this world that’s for sure
