I agree with someone's post above somewhere: I think Dave is handling the responses for Michael. Many have Dave's dorky feel to them which he calls "positivity".

I haven't been able to work michael watching back into my routine yet. Part of me (my brain) doesn't want to do it. I did watch his 3 minute channel update. No one gifted him a razor again.

And yeah these comment replies all have — pardon the expression — that “Dave Kay flow” about them. They’re exactly the same flavor of snarky-without-actually-acknowledging-the-criticism as the replies Dave posts on his own channel. And let’s be real, Michael himself is not capable of writing complete sentences that aren’t riddled with spelling errors.

Just waiting for Dave’s channel update video where he spends 20 minutes vaguely alluding to a new business opportunity that he may or may not have already told us about and may or may not tell us about in the furure, who knows, TBD, and turns out it’s just that he’s accepted a position as Mike’s comment section hall monitor. Which he will of course list on his LinkedIn as “moderator of high-intensity, high-stakes public debates.”
 
If Dave is responding to the comments, then the rebrand is really hinting that the family is going to work together and try and turn Mike’s brand into a family brand/business.

I’m a small business owner, and while the concept is not terrible, it likely would’ve been best to work on cleaning up Mike’s content, and expanding that, or have Mike work on two channels, his old vlog like videos, and a new channel for travel, that he could always transition into if it ever got more popular.

He could even use his current youtube channel to constantly promote his new, family business one (check out the excursions we experienced on our new channel, come some behind the scene clips of this video on the other channel, etc.) and it would’ve felt a lot more natural then.

This way of doing things is a constant feel of, “I don’t know what I’m doing, I’m just throwing everything against a wall to see what sticks,” and his disingenuous behavior where he keeps things secret, or straight up lies, banning old fans and anyone who had a question that they don’t want to answer.

They might think they’re just cleaning up their subscriber count, expecting to lose people as things change, but then more than make up for it with new subscribers down the line, but when my company pivots, we take years of data, and doing the old thing with the new thing, before abandoning the old thing altogether.

It all looks sloppy. I don’t know what kind of revenue they want to make doing this, but it won’t be a lot. Maybe “fine” for one person’s salary, but not multiple people.
 
Epcot was a mad house last night. No Kay sightings to report. In years past he would live stream but fiancé has shut that tit down. Wish I would have seen him with his squeeze because as some have mentioned he has no regard for posting videos of adults and children in swimming suits. He’s also fashioned himself as Siskel and Ebert now. This is what you get for being a patreon.

This is basically saying eff-off, go make your own content then. I wonder if it's his mom responding back.
 
I'm going with perhaps an unpopular opinion (or as yet unvoiced) and I think the scribe is actually Claire or his Princess Fiancé (PF). I agree, it definitely does NOT sound like Michael and the tone/style is far more advanced than anything we've seen from him.

Since Claire has a red hotline direct to Michael and has spoken on his behalf many times, it wouldn't surprise me. Or it's PF and she is making her voice heard. Just my 2 cents.

That’s interesting. I think you’re right. Some responses sound like Dave, some don’t, but as you said, none sound like Michael. Maybe he’s got a whole collective handling the comments.

If the fiance is trying to tank the channel, there are far better ways to do it and still receive passive income. Idiot should have just purged all the crap videos, made a video that he was taking a pause. Read the script I provided. And then come back "maybe"

I am with you. I believe it is all Michael. He was always like this and hints of it spiked through on occasion. He is not the sweet, Disney-lovin' innocent "Golly Gee" guy he portrayed on camera. I did believe he loved Disney and the enthusiasm was genuine back in the day though.

He comes from a family of liars and grifters. His father was not a nice guy at all and was abusive. Michael has a lot of darkness inside and that is one of the reasons Disney is (was) so beloved. It used to be the best place to escape and literally visit Fantasyland.

They are socially... A bit challenged.

CLEARLY Michael's channel is dead, with no chance of coming back. David never really had a channel that was worth looking at twice.

Michelle... Hey... She shouldn't be drug into het brothers' weirdness. She got has enough.
 
If Michael would just be honest for one minute, he could avoid all of this. Just say, I’m engaged, my fiancé is in a public facing job, she is moving to Orlando and we think it’s best that I move away from vlog-style videos. Why does he have to be so freaking weird about everything

Has he told his Patreons he is engaged yet?
