Is he not worried about the baby? Why did he not find it weird that she couldn't film at his house and was unnecessarily going to her dad's house to film? I'm sure if I was pregnant right now and going to my mum's place twice a week when there's no reason to, my boyfriend would call me out and ask what's wrong with me

Because Thomas was "renovating" (aka painting - that's all she showed on instagram anyway) the upstairs area where they live.
Before the virus they were going between the two houses anyway I think so I guess that's why she kept her "office" at her dad's.

I know she's BFFs with Hannah but I'd love to know what Hannah really thinks of her marketing herself as a sex educator whilst going on about them using the pulling out method. Hannah isn't perfect or all-knowing but she has no issue admitting that and would never do something as irresponsible as promoting that to her relatively young audience as you say.

Ahahaha it used to be a priority but our Mel got declined for a mortgage for the amount she wanted (cue lots of whining about how hard it is to be a millennial in Ireland) so threw her rattle out of her pram and decided to stay put instead.

The pregnancy was planned. She thought she had PCOS/a "gammy ovary" (her words) and would have trouble conceiving so they stopped being careful to see how long it would take (because she was expecting it to take a while) but she fell pregnant immediately. Because there's nothing wrong with her reproductive system and her problems were self diagnosed.

Well it didn't sound like they had any rushed plans for moving ! I found it odd he was painting surely you would wait till whatever renovations were complete before you start decorating ...They don't seem to have a brain cell between them ...Maybe she's waiting to hit the "Times Bestsellers" No 1 spot with the book,before she purchases the mansion

I’m guessing this was a joint application with her boyfriend? I know house prices are sky high there but he’s a pilot which means he has a high and steady income. Not sure about how much Melanie earns but socialblade doesn’t suggest much (for an influencer, though I know it doesn’t include sponsored content etc). Regardless, her income is likely considered unsteady so she would’ve been the one letting the side down

If she wanted rooms for her dad and brother that would mean 4 bedrooms. The cheapest I’ve found in Skerries is €450,000. Couldn’t she set her sights a bit cheaper? She could get a 2 bedroom place for under half that which is all they need

Also really don’t understand the attitude of “we can’t afford a mansion, therefore we’re going to live between our parents houses like we’re teen parents”. It’s one extreme to another

No it wasn't yknow, it was a solo application. She was in a bunch of trouble over it on twitter too as usual, for making out like having a six figure salary (don't know whether I believe she earns that much but it's what she claimed in the tweets) is a regular millennial thing. She is scandalous. All of these predicaments she has found herself in have been for the long game, which is gaining publicity for her books. In one of her very first videos she mentioned her goal was to become an established author and that she already had a draft for a few novels. Although she came across back as shy and nieve, the plan was there and she has used and abused every topic since to either relate to followers or to drum up a reputation by brushing folk up the wrong way.

It's not even just the mortgage and the baby though, it's the fact that a couple of weeks ago she was using both of them as excuses to justify her house-hopping for her "essential work" funny how her priorities have changed now she's out of the spotlight.

Not my tweet but precisely how Melanie's "career" as a writer makes me feel. Can't remember who was saying last night what a travesty it is that so many talented writers will never get a shot whilst she gets deals handed to her, but I completely agree.

Sorry to keep adding to my post but she makes me so angry. Latest post on the gram: "I've decided as long as I eat this healthy smoothie every day, I'm allowed to eat pasta, pizza and chocolate!" I really worry for the people who rely on her for food validation (she's had hundreds of messages from them apparently). I'm so angry I want to cry. She's not "side stepping food guilt" at all, she's perpetuating it and I'm sick of it.
