Disgusting. Keeps saying “I can do better”, “I need to do better” blablabla. How about not using the BLM movement for your own gain? Would be an important first step.

I’m starting to feel like this as well, I actually did like her to begin with but maybe I was just being naive, now whenever I see her on insta or watch one of her videos I just find myself rolling my eyes - also, side note, I read both of her books recently to see what they were like and oh my god I’ve never read so much crap in my lifeI’m finding her so annoying nowadays flashing her bump and her ignorant rants its not even funny
Yeah I have Melanie blocked so I can’t see her at all and I can’t search her up if I’m feeling curious. It just got to a point earlier this year (wedding and pregnancy time) when I found seeing her stuff not just pissed me off but made me feel ... crappy. I don’t know how to explain but she affected me negatively. I now discuss her on here but don’t look at her accounts. She’s a piece of work.
I follow her for this thread. I was frustrated by her for so long it’s nice having a place to vent now 
I wanted to like the book, but I felt a similar way about Laura Jane Williams, anyone can write a book, anyone can come up with a story, that story can be passed to an editor who then re writes the book as a ghost writer would,

Because the editor writes the book
Lyndsey Kelk (before becoming an author herself) was a ghost writer, bare minimum put into the actual story, because it’s not their story, they clean it up and push it out.
Her books feel like that. No different to the Zoe sugg/girl online days. Only a bigger ego at the thought of being an “author”

Same here. I liked her up until she brought out her fully functioning human book. I had bought tickets for the book signing as a meet and greet package in Leeds and with little to no explanation it was cancelled. She piped up a few days later and said her anxiety was really bad but continued with her Dublin appearances. Thats when I started to see the cracks. I believe 100% that she didn't get enough numbers to warrant a tour of England and used the anxiety card as a scapegoat.I’m finding her so annoying nowadays flashing her bump and her ignorant rants its not even funny

Why does she make out like her relationship is a fantasy that should be made into a movie? You kissed a boy you vaguely knew when you were a teenager and then got into a relationship, It's common. Maybe I'm confused

Why does she always feel the need to let thousands of followers know that without HER help her dad couldn't live in their town?
It's not something to brag about nor do you deserve a pat on the back for it. If your parents are struggling and you have the means/finances to help, you do it out of respect, gratitude and love. Its not something to hold over someone or remind them of nevermind telling thousands of strangers.

She said she won't do a room tour of the room in the attic (someone asked for a before & after) because she wants to keep a bit of privacy.
I'd understand if that came from someone who's quite private in general, but she literally overshares constantly, shows her bump every two seconds and has filmed herself on the loo?

I'm very lucky to say that in my family, no one's really struggling money-wise. Yet if I was able to help my mum financially, I'd do it in a heartbeat. She's done so much for me and I hope one day I can fulfill one of her wishes. It would never cross my mind to "flex" about it like her though. I think she thinks she deserves some kind of medal. You don't hear parents constantly stressing how they help their children out financially (and I'm sure there's times before YouTube where her parents had to help her out a bit - and there's nothing wrong with that) but she thinks because the roles are reversed it's special and she deserves recognition for it? Family is everything, I think it's a bit of a shame that she feels the need to constantly mention she's still paying rent at her dad's despite living in her husband's attic now.

On Instagram when asked to amplify black voices She said posts from then on would be about that- On her grid and stories all i see are bump pictures,her husband,book promo, cheap leggings "soooo diverse you guise" Desenio prints and pregnancy and you guessed it, more book promo.
I see only now she's speaking up aboutJ.K Rowling.I guess she has lot of redeeming to do recently with house-hopping, BBC scandal and then her whitesplaining to POC how they shouldn't be offended. As someone who was a huge fan, I can see right through her on this. Why now call out J.K when all other times you stood by her or stayed silent? The devil works hard springs to mind. Damage control, MAJORLY.

And this thing about deleting her Twitter once the baby arrives because people don't know how to have a conversation? Nope, that's Melanies echo chamber syndrome talking. When you are so ignorant and put your two cents to everything that doesn't concern you, people have a right to engage. It's only when you are corrected/ pulled up and or proven wrong does Twitter become " "toxic"

Deleting her twitter? I don’t believe that for one second. And if she does she’ll sign up again the next day. She feels the need to share everything on social media and needs other people to validate everything in her life. Does anyone really think the woman who just posted her new picture wall on Instagram with a lengthy explanation of WHY she chose the prints (if anyone wanted to find connection between her life and the prints they could’ve easily done that without her melsplaining - thanks so much for that word @DearreaderI see she was melsplaining to a POC. A girl then tweeted in reply to Melanie to say separating the art from the artist was a cop out and J.K Rowling shouldn't be celebrated and Melanie replied with this analogy.

She's literally comparing women who got ABUSED by a man who used his power and influence to hurt these women to JK Rowling's transphobic remarks? Saying if we don't support JK Rowling we shouldn't support actresses who got abused either? Please, this woman does NOT belong on social media and she's making me lose faith in humanity. "Many of the world's greatest talents have turned out to be awful in one way or another"... so... that makes it okay then for people to be awful?
I just simply cannot anymore, this is too much.Doesn't she say she wants her child to grow up in a world that isn't full of hate and a world where people get along, blabla bla. So why does she excuse awful behaviour like this then?
