Yes that's right ,she said it was because she was exhausted they had to help deliver the baby.
i texted my ob/gyne colleague and oop.. (she’s just come off a week of nights. Excuse the mania )

She said she can still barely walk and is getting physio so I'm sure the baby must have been in distress of some sort if she's still in that state and forceps had to be used ,they don't use them willy nilly it's more a step up from having to have a c section but I can't believe she's made up that bullshit of having them forced upon her after all the praise she heaped on the staff after the birthSurely in an exhausted mother/baby not coming out scenario the doctor is just going to do what is best? Medical malpractice can happen and I think labour is a vulnerable time for women for this to happen, but using forceps instead of the suction cup to get baby out faster is not wrong?
If it had been a c section she would probably complain of the same thing. Anything other than her perfect med free water birth was going to be a disappointment I think, and the medical team are easy to blame rather than nature.
She's just making up utter bollocks at this point. Sorry, more armchair diagnoses but it has to be something pathological because nobody would have thought any worse of her if she had been worn out by labour (in fact nobody would have thought anything!). Labour is a difficult time for a lot of women, and it's a lot stronger to accept that you needed a bit of help and were having a rough time yet STILL managed to pull through in the end, rather than "Oh naughty doctors tricked me into having a healthy baby and keeping me alive, rah my life is so hard!"She's flying off the handle at commenter who stated we should trust the medical experts. My god she's unbearable.
Excuse me, but what an annoying witch she is!She's flying off the handle at commenter who stated we should trust the medical experts. My god she's unbearable.
She's saying the hospital only permitted her an hour and a half to give birth jesus she's demented ,it's a pity the hospital couldn't be made aware of these posts and take action against her she's tarnishing their name all over SM to thousands .She's flying off the handle at commenter who stated we should trust the medical experts. I feel sorry for the baby, he’s going to be blamed for those tears in a few yearsWe're never going to stop hearing about those tears are we.....
I’ve done my own research (see Melanie you’re not the only one who’s able to google) and you can push for two hours before the hospital considers helping you out. Would she have preferred for the medical staff to leave her there pushing away and for the baby’s heart rate to drop? That happened to my mother when she was giving birth to me and I was born not breathing cause they left it too long without helping her with a suction. Would Melanie have really preferred to risk her baby’s life instead of having a healthy baby and a few tears that will heal before long? She's saying the hospital only permitted her an hour and a half to give birth jesus she's demented ,it's a pity the hospital couldn't be made aware of these posts and take action against her she's tarnishing their name all over SM to thousands .
"Going for a home birth next time"?!She's flying off the handle at commenter who stated we should trust the medical experts. My god she's unbearable.
I've just seen another comment saying that her care changed "when her time was up" wtf?? No hospital has time limits on labour? There are limits on how long they will let you push etc FOR YOUR OWN AND BABIES SAFETY but she seems to be implying they wanted to kick her out for just being there too long! Going to have to stop looking at her insta as it is just making me angry .
Okay I’m done with this lunatic. What an ungrateful attitude towards medical professionals! I’m seething. She's flying off the handle at commenter who stated we should trust the medical experts. My god she's unbearable.
