Gosh, it is just pouring out of her, no stopping.

I can’t imagine Melanie having any other job rather than blogging. All this “don’t you dare to shame me for having an opinion”, she would not last doing most jobs and not for having an opinion but for the way she carries on. Almost everywhere you need to deal with other people, treat them respectfully and try to look from a different perspective even if you disagree with them, work in a team and all. She just won’t be able for it. I can see her commenting from her sock puppet accounts while fuming and being so angry someone dares to disagree with her. A job where she can make up a fake personality and not being hold accountable is perfect for her.

I was angry with the midwives because they told me that I couldn’t get an epidural and it was too late, but it was only for a short period of time. Then I thought, thank god midwives had the patience to deal with while I was so angry. While Melanie thinks she is a gods gift with all her research and opinions.
 
God she's unreal in her pathetic little rant...

She specified how she doesn't want people to go against their medical professionals advice. Then she says she listened to her consultant and went ahead with the procedure... so how was she forced into it as she claims she was?😂

She's doing a tell all vid soon ..even the way she was speaking on her stories about those health professionals was awful "they just shoved the catheter in " you'd have thought she was treated like a piece of meat .Like you say wait for the SP accounts to back her up she so predictable ,if her experience was so bad why didn't she leave a complaint with the hospital or is that what all this is for, so she can file some sort of claim for negligence for leaving her unable to walk properly and needing physio🤔

That's what it's all about - Victimhood and drama for internet clout.

I don't believe 90% of the stuff that comes out of her mouth.

Is it me or does she seem totally unconnected with the baby ,even the way she holds him. If you're feeding your baby shouldn't that be a bonding experience not an excuse to upload to instagram .I'm sure he'll recognise the glare or the phone more than he'll recognise his mams loving gaze

duck off love 😂😂 that’s ALL you (while granny looks after milo) look at the bleeping essays that are being written on her YouTube comments and Instagram posts, bint has nothing to do with herself but lie in bed eating dinner (as you do 🙄) talking to strangers on line because she has NO FRIENDS.
Im sure granny and grandad groan when they hear the “wife” coming down from the attic.

also, when you have your next 27 kids, because you know you’re an IRISH MAMMY, birth the fuckers yourself, in the attic. Because you know everything why would you need a medical professional around.

I’ve never wanted anyone to have the smile wiped off their face as much as I have her, looking down on everyone and everything, I hope to god milo is a little brat.

I've been doing my own research into everything she's been saying. She said she got a spinal block 'mid contraction', a spinal block usually interferes with a woman's ability to push effectively, and is usually only used for assisted deliveries, like forceps or c-section. (multiple websites say this, including University of Michigan Health)
She said she lost 1.3 litres of blood. That is counted as a Postpartum haemorrhage (where you lose more than 500mls after birth). Please note this is taken from the nhs website. That's pretty significant, why hasn't she mentioned how quickly the medical staff would have worked to stop the bleeding if she lost that much??
I feel sorry for the medical team who had to deal with a patient who knew better than they did.

The thing is, birth trauma is a real thing, and having forceps must have been a scary time for Mel. I fully appreciate that she has had a rough time from the tears and healing. She is entitled to feel all the feelings about her birth, and from her comments it does seem that the consultant could have explained things better and been gentler when examining.

BUT blaming the professionals for what sounds like a necessary procedure (and one that we kind of called) is just not ok!

I think it's very telling that in the weeks coming up to the birth, many of us predicted that she would have this exact reaction and melodrama around what was ultimately a successful, healthy birth.

Every word out her mouth to do with the hospitals and consultants had an us versus them tone. They were the enemy. They weren't to be trusted. OF COURSE she's unhappy with the way the birth went - there was never the chance she would be happy!

Even if they would have let her do exactly as she wanted, and something went wrong, she'd be moaning that they didn't do X enough.

Medical degree-less Mel will always the fault in their actions and way of doing things because Google gives her the anecdotes to allow her to be the smartest person in the room, no matter who surrounds her.

She's the most insufferable person I've come across in years.

Nobody here is saying birth trama isn't a real thing.

The problem I think most are seeing here is, that SHE stated she was FORCED into forceps and then later in her stories saying that her consultant said they were necessary and that she "listened to him" therefore where exactly was she forced? She has also been anti consultant and medical professionals from the get go.... using a sock puppet account to support herself making up BS about women bleeding out from C sections and alluding to the epidural causing death.

It's not trolls causing misinformation and fear mongering. It's Melanie and her dozen sock puppet accounts.

It also wouldn't be the first time that Melanie created a narrative that paints her as victim- which is all the time, btw. How has one person faced so much trauma, life obstacles and illnesses all at the age of 30- she knows what gets the views and engagement and capitalizes from it.
