Woah. From her Facebook, Melanie seems like an almost normal person tbh. I think she was doing sort of okay in the YouTube industry, even if her content was immature, shallow and fake to some extent but she had a presence. I think it all went downhill for her when she started dating Thomas and left alcohol and became this preachy holier than thou woman. I am not saying leaving alcohol is a bad thing (I don’t even drink myself) but a lot of her content was her socializing with friends/going to events. It’s sad to see she has lost herself. And directed her energies on preaching to her audience and projecting her troubling opinions on them instead.

I mean I can't advocate for someone drinking alcohol if they don't want to, but I mean there's a reason she has a bit of a following. She was a charismatic (even just externally) person before she felt the need to be all middle-class mumsy.

I don’t mind her saying it. I say it and so do a lot of Dubliners I know. But we don’t write it?! If you pronounce it that way anyway, then surely that’s just how you’ll read it? She doesn’t need to unnecessarily be awkward in her grammar.

Exactly no bibliography or reference to show where it came from , it could of came from a child book for all we knowalso as someone who has done a Masters Degree for lols (yes, I’m that bleep), putting (McKenna, 2020) actually means duck all because she hasn’t said who McKenna is/ what 2020 is referencing the first time - that could be anything.

She's really playing up the covid angle on missing friends & not seeing family for engagement. She knows everytime she posts about missing friends that her engagement goes up from people commenting on how Covid has impacted them. Preying on people's loneliness for engagement and slyly showing her true self in her Twitter likes.
I ask you to go into her likes on Twitter and see it's clear as day. Look at her past tweets and Insta stories(screenshots all in past threads here) She's anti mask and a covid conspiracy theorist who believes her rights are somehow infringed from all the way up in her skerries attic.
Her latest bullshit take is supporting the advert funded by a bunch of billionare right wing lunatics who have funneled money into far right media,anti abortion campaigns and are prolific climate change deniers.
This advert is right wing propaganda and goes against everything Melanie has been paid to promote and supposedly supports - the green party
repeal the 8th and most recently doves commitment to becoming a plastic free company.
So next time you believe Melanie is a feminist, or that she care for mental health, the homeless, pro abortion, a commitment to plastic reduction for her children's future. Think again.
She is directly supporting an advert that proposes we let the most vulnerable in our society die from covid. That they are less than, somehow. The PR agency & advert is nothing but right wing propaganda.
She is supporting a ring wing billionaires boy club who fund hate campaigns. So how can Melanie claim to care about her adverts or be passionate about all mentioned above when she supports adverts like this?
For a girl who claims to love research, she sure does very little of it. Melanie doesn't care. Not about anything that doesn't affect her at least. It's all for money, she can hammer on all she wants about being a liberal... nah hun you are a right wing fool.

People have underlying health conditions, yes. But undiagnosed ones exist? I had a patient die because in April him and his friends had this exact mentality and went to a park in Dublin to hang out, didn’t realise he had an underlying heart condition and he died surrounded only by hospital staff at 23 years of age. But that also stands as, so what? People with underlying health conditions should just stay detached from the rest of the world until we’ve a vaccine because you don’t want to take precautions to keep them safe?

It's not only health conditions, is she blind to the fact the health service is at breaking point that if herself or her child need treatment there's a very good chance she won't be able to access it ...show's how bleeping thick she is ..We've 12 ICU beds left in the North and cancer patients have been turned away at the theatre door (literally )that's the reality of the situation .

I’ve lost track of how many private patients I’ve told that they need procedures done which have to take place in a public hospital because private hospitals don’t have the same facilities/ they’ll be put on a public waiting list like everyone else. Pearls are clutched I tell you
health insurance in Ireland is a total sham. But she seems like the type to think it makes her skip the queue somehow and doesn’t even think about it.

Her baby has no yet had his vaccines, so he is classed as vulnerable... you would think a baby would have made her realise how important living is TO EVERYONE.
Melanie just desperately wants to be the alternative cool girl. The "I'm not like other girls" if you've been to Tenerife, Melanie's been to Elevenerife.
She has this weird constant need to prove she's educated and well researched all the time when everything out of her mouth is pure ignorance and privileged BS.
Underlying illnesses are most affected but so are people living in disadvantaged areas who are unable to avail of healthcare services. Also as @Chinese_whispers stated how many people are walking around with an undiagnosed health condition? It could be me or melanie herself would it be a different tune then?
Young people and babies are all at risk, we can't know who it will chose. I know a healthy guy who got it and it floored him for months, he's still not 100%. No underlying condition.
Melanie loves to hammer in how it's only the old people with pre existing conditions - that itself, just shows her level of stupidity. She just so desperately wants to be different and so unique. She changes opinion and morals depending on who she's with and what's popular at the time.

Is it me or does she seem totally unconnected with the baby ,even the way she holds him. If you're feeding your baby shouldn't that be a bonding experience not an excuse to upload to instagram .I'm sure he'll recognise the glare or the phone more than he'll recognise his mams loving gaze
