100%. She'll flip flop right over to whatever stance suits her best in the moment.

Her obsessiveness with the pregnancy, bump, birth plan etc has been increasingly odd to see. I feel like her entire identity now is "Melanie the pregnant lady". Whereas usually women are X, Y, Z - a myriad of different personality traits and complexities - and also happen to be pregnant. I don't know if it's because she doesn't seem to have a lot else going on in her life? Like she's forever lying down.

In the same line of thought... she's been unbelievably lucky to get those book deals. There are so many incredibly talented writers out there that could only dream of achieving two published books under their name by 30. However, and maybe I'm wrong here (please tell me if I am because I would love to be), but has she ever made the effort to formally study English lit or creative writing? Gone for a masters or a short workshop...? I constantly see SM posts by other brilliant young Irish writers where they're celebrating being accepted to this or that course to add another string to their bow in terms of crafting their skill. I've never seen Melanie share anything on her education (aside from the teacher thing - lol). It's not like she hasn't had the time (if people can do it while working actual full-time jobs, so can she). And there's paths that don't cost much. I just find it strange that she prioritised getting married and pregnant without really getting her sh*t together career-wise. Maybe since she's already had the book deals, she thinks they'll never stop coming her way...?

/rant

I suppose I just get frustrated when I see incredibly special opportunities handed to people and them not really make the most of it :poop:

Sorry for the double post but I have to thank you for this. I cannot unsee it now. It's uncanny?!
Oh my!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That hairline though
Built-in airport on his forehead... well he's a junior pilot right?

OMG! is all I can say ,would ye ever  how does she even walk round the house like that in front of his parents ,never mind a tourist attraction !
There’s a big different between a crop top and a literal bra? Like if this was a crop top and covering half her stomach it wouldn’t look so bad, but it’s just a sports bra, would she walk around in a lacy bra? I doubt it

I'm sure she would've been getting some funny looks at the Castle ..Irish Grannies wouldn't approve of that attire 😬

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is just what I've heard from friends and family my mum didn't do any classes or prep before having me and her and my aunties experiences are all the same I understand the classes can be helpful but I really think Melanie thinks that the baby is going to just, slide out of her no issues or pain because she's drinking some type of weird tea 😂

Classes are good because you get some idea of what happens during labour and possible scenarios, also you are given advice on how to manage better mentally.
overall it’s helpful, but Mel is up with the fairies, thinking that breathing techniques and a birth plan give you a control over the course of labour. It’s very intense and pretty painful without pain relief no matter how many times you massage your arse(perineal massage)or how many raspberry teas you drink.

I did all of that preparation stuff myself, exercises, tea, primrose oil but it was still very far from being easy to deliver the baby.

Melanie thinks she is Mother Earth, and she will give birth to 'civilization'. She's overly dramatic and capitalizing her cheesey, corny pregnancy.

Yes!! I understand how some elements of the classes probably do help but it's a watermelon coming out a lemon sized hole 😂 like props to you being able to do it but i really do not think she'll have more kids when she's given a dose of reality 😂

I've taken some classes and will see whether they help when it comes down to the watermelon and lemon situation soon. I *did * enjoy some of the breathing exercises that they taught; I've had (pre pregnancy) some real issues with trauma and my body (like proper diagnosed trauma with years of amnesia etc etc) and while therapy helped most, the breathing exercises felt super nice and grounding! Either way. I wish Melanie a smooth birth, but I hope she comes out of it more humble.

Good luck. Breathing exercises are really good during contractions.

I hope I didn’t scare you saying it was very intense and all that stuff.
I really wanted to get pain relief unlike Mel, but when I arrived to the hospital it was too late for me to get it, so for that reason I found my labour hard.

No problem! I'd rather know it is intense and then deal with what comes than assuming it will be all pink fluffy unicorns!

As if this crazy bxxch spent the whole pandemic spinning her anti mainstream media rhetoric while she has linked pandemic related articles from you guessed it.... MAINSTREAM MEDIA all over her Twitter page right now. 😂

Mind boggling levels of stupidity and hypocrisy from Melanie as per (no surprises there!)

Enquire for a refund on that education degree there, Melanie. You deserve a full refund girly.

So the baby's 7lb 12oz at 36 weeks and the consultant's given her the go ahead for the midwife led unit, but the midwife has said their leaving it up to the consultant so she has to wait 2 more weeks to find out where she'll be giving birth ,,the plot thickens ..I think she's having second thoughts about the MW led unit ,once she heard the weight of the baby she was trying to talk herself round with things she'd read on the internet about how inaccurate growth scans are ,,so much for the mother earth approach 🤨

As she's so close to birth I highly doubt there's that much back and forth the consultant will make the call and Melanie will just have to deal with what she's told she's doing...so she's probably going to play it out for a bit and end up not going MW led and having all the drugs of the day (like any reasonable person would)

We'll probably see the same enthusiasm fizzle out with breastfeeding and the cloth nappies

That's what I thought ? I'd have thought they would even offer her an induction ,the risk of shoulder dystocia increases with the size of the baby ..
Yeah that's exactly right. And from what I understand there are additional risks ranging from baby fracturing its arm, to death, and things can escalate very rapidly, meaning that Melanie would need to be in a hospital under consultant led care so that action could be taken quickly should an emergency situation arise.

Yeah they need to rush you to theatre if anything happens .I hope she's looking into all this before she pushes ahead with her positive birth plan ..
