Oh she's putting that accent on hardcore especially since she met him.... it's a very typical accent of a certain breed of snobbery which Melanie isn't fluent in but desperately wants to be. That's why she tries hard to pretend her dad owns a factory. She desperately wants to be known as part of skerries "well to do"
I love the "certain breed of snobbery which Melanie isn't fluent in but desperately wants to be." ..Like her taste level when it comes to jewelries. And oh! her engagement ring 🤣😁🤭

People do use it but it's more of a Dublin thing.... but I don't think it's common use anymore especially not written. It's Melanie trying to make it her 'thing' QuIRKy mEl vIBeZz 😙

GRETCHEN STOP TRYING TO MAKE FETCH HAPPEN IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN

it’s definitely a Dublin thing. It’s more of a north sider thing. I say it myself and I know loads of people who do but I’ve never seen anyone spell it when writing. Not even Hazel Hayes does that.

I’m not from Dublin and everyone around me says “yous”, I think people from Dublin say it more like “yis” and then “ye” in more country areas? I do think Melanie types it out like that to sound more special and Irish though lol
I’m Scottish, just outside Glasgow and everyone says it constantly but it will be spelled “yous” and actually quite a lot of people type it online too, it would be used like e.g. “Are yous coming over for dinner tonight?”, “Yous are great” etc. probably slang yes but everyone does say it

I think I must a breed above Mel, I also don’t lie for a living.

I’ve been thinking about this way to much 😂

I would say “are youz going to the shop” but I would never spell it that way if I was typing, it’s almost trying to sound irish in text.

I would say “are yous going to the shop” but only to friends, family or housemates. I’d never put it where my business is imagine using that in a professional way??

We use it all the time where I come from 😂 but I don't think I've ever used it on here ,I have to change my language as the English wouldn't have a clue what I was talking about ..and probs still don't :ROFLMAO:

Another fabletics ad like I've always had a dislike for channels like the sacconejolys who basically use their kids to earn more money and to me this is absolutely no different and she says the baby is never going to be on social media...until a well enough paid brand deal comes along

And I'm also sure all her gender neutral ideas will go out the window when the baby is born ESP if its a girl.

I just find it so weird how she's basically made her whole personality about being pregnant like its not as if it's a permanent state 😂

no, at least not amongst those who can speak and spell correctly.
She tries to make herself sound more “irish” and it’s embarrassing

I'm from the north and we would 'yous' or 'yous-ins' but like you would only ever write it down as 'yous' if you were sending a text or something like even at that normally people don't because it looks stupid 😂

She couldn’t be trying to break her back anymore ffs

I can't stand when people try to sound "Irish" in the written word. It's so twee. Irish is not a personality trait!
