Megan Burns meganneburnss

Megan YOU are likely the poor person and Lola is the trampy kid in her class. Does she honestly think buying a ton of toys from smyths makes her mum of the year? Erm no. It smacks me as someone who can’t prioritise. Driving an old car, walking about in dirty clothes and can’t afford a property that adequately houses them.

She’s banging on about Santa for views tbh. Rage baiting

I'd not be too sure if I was her tbh.

In Glasgow and surrounding areas Santa brings the lot. I've never met anyone up here who does any different. And it's usually excessive. Which is just the way we were raised and what we continue to do.

However from what I've gathered on another forum I'm on, the South of England may not be the same.
I'm from Glasgow 🤣 I'll be honest it's only been the last 8 yrs or so I've done it differently and told the kids santa brought some and mum and dad got some. I just felt bad that some kids ask santa for expensive things and maybe not got it and could be wondering why other kids got expensive things from santa even though they had been good too. I explained to my kids that they were very lucky that we could afford to get them expensive things but it's not the same for everyone. I understand many folk say its all from santa and that's completely OK 🥰 it's what my mum and dad done for us too it was all from santa

She’s really not getting it is she? Who cares what you buy your kids at Christmas it’s nobody’s business but that’s the point she doesn’t get nobody needs to see you bragging about no budget n you buying what you want. Yes her kids may have forgotten what Santa brought by the time they go back to school but strangers on the internet won’t have forgotten how they’re out burstin their arses to make ends meet n have only been able to spend the £100 that miss eddlewood who has forgotten her auld arse thinks is hilarious. Some parents don’t even have £100 to spend. See when you know who she is n where she’s from her obnoxious arrogance boils blood

She might want to concentrate more on putting a brush through her kids heads, washing and ironing their clothes and cleaning their home than buying piles of toys!

I'm don't care what anyone buys for their kids for Christmas or who it's labelled from but I really can't stand the whole showing off on social media. My kids get an unnecessary amount at christmas but it's not posted all over the internet as proof of how wonderful I am 🙄. crappy parents can spend money too!

That’s the thing imagine being so concerned about what people think about the presents you buy but not concerned about what your child looks like.
Even at times when we’ve been skint my family have been immaculate. Always clean clothes, hair brushed and bathed. I can’t imagine anyone having the opinion that my weans are manky!

Let’s normalise cleaning ourselves, kids and house. The constant “I’m spending a bomb on my kids for Christmas” posts are repetitive as duck.
