Well he didn’t tell people till a while after. He likely caught it partying I think - there was an air of Klopp being disappointed he caught it Abroad.

The wags thread think Mason’s confidence that Has gone - that’s a lot harder to recover from than just poor form. Through Chelsea is full of players whose confidence must be falling apart so it could be something.

When he is hanging about with footballers who have damaged their Carrer by parting and living the lifestyle too much it‘s alarming,

And at Chelsea like all big clubs if your form drops you relying on your replacement losing form or getting injured till you even given a chance To restore it. Not sure he will manage that if the bench rather than the pitch is his main home
