I am desperately trying to catch up for some reason I thought it started this week and not last week.

I am up to Peggy and Georges and just... 😩 poor Peggy she seems quite sweet and very sheltered. Georges is a pig. Can't stand that banter pretending to hide a sensitive soul when really he's just a prick. Although Peggy's sister could wind her neck in a bit 😂

Yep. Trans people have every right to live in the body they are happier in but a trans person, either male or female, has never had the experience of growing up as a biological man or woman. We see this explicitly in Ella who thinks women go around saying the tit she says. She made me cringe the minute she said to Nathanial "I'm glad you're sexy" when she first saw him. The fingering thing was just embarrassing for her. I don't think in all my 40 plus years of chatting about sex with friends when younger I've ever used fingering as a benchmark of progress between myself and a partner!

I know one trans and at school you just knew and she transitioned in the 90s. When society didn't get it. She does look like a female (dresses and acts like one) and hasn't been fortunate to get access to the surgical procedures to look feminine like Ella because now the NHS help you through the journey.

Ella needs to stop reminding us 😫 It's seems it her personality that's the barrier to love.

Spot on! I'm pleased for Ella that she can be her true self and I reckon the other couples are, too. She just needs to live it now, as you say. She's chosen the sort of woman she wants to be presumably, she's not my cup of tea and I find the continual sex talk boring and childish. I wonder if she had the same personality pre-op?

The first thing I noticed about Ella was that they beelined for Peggy as the most conventionally “barbie type” looking woman and immediately tried to form a bond, saying something along the lines of “so we are the sexy ones”

I also noticed at the dinner party when Ella was talking to Peggy, Jay was right next to them and Ella barely looked at jay but had all this high energy excitement around Peggy
