I feel quite sad for her. It's her honeymoon too. Let her order the lamb if that's what she fancies. Someone encouraging you to try different things is one thing but complaining when someone doesn't order what you want them to is a bit much, quite controlling really. It would be like me demanding nobody ordered the food I'm allergic to at a meal.

It would be enough for me to walk away. Who wants a guilt trip every time they eat?!

I don’t eat meat, never have but my husband is a big meat eater, doesn’t even eat fish and we manage fine, I’m just not offended by anyone who eats differently to me and if I waited for someone who did eat the same and also had all the qualities he has I’d probably die alone.
