A fond memory from a year ago beauts. How long did this hiatus last? 🤣

pip is not means tested , so he gets that for his autism/ocd diagnosis. He misuses the money by spending it on fry ups , but its money he is entitled to ( possibly ) . If he’s getting UC, being homeless ( even if it’s pretend homelessness like Marcus’s) pauses the requirement to look for work until you are sorted so presumably while he’s meant to be working with his support worker to work towards independence, he won’t be expected to job hunt . Alternatively he’s getting a drs note on mental health grounds , which he probably plays the anxiety card . Either way , he won’t be getting a huge amount each month , contrary to what some people here like to think , and how Marcus likes to make out with his “ boujee lifestyle” 😂

It just baffles me how he has his bedsit paid for and money to eat out, like you say benefits don’t stretch that far even if he isn’t paying bills. (And to be fair i don’t know of any accomodation that offers an all inclusive room to benefit claimants)

Why would his parents subsidize him? Is it to keep him out of their houses? They aren’t interesting enough to have any deep dark secrets they are afraid of him spilling. Its a kick in the teeth to his sisters if they are letting him live the hobo pinot chippy lifestyle he loves.

edited to add: he can’t make much from his paypal begging bowl either
