D'y remember when he went on about applying to go on Big Brother? They would need specialised bariatic equipment. He'd be better off going for my 600lb life. Story line would be Marcus replaces one addiction for another, first it was t'internet but lost faith in it cos not what it used to be when he was meme king, then it was addiction to Aldi voddy and thatchers but he started to resemble Kermit with a fetching shade of green hue to his skin and eyes and now it's an addiction to industrial size quantities of beige slop. Wee Dr Now, shakes his head and storms off..

Why would his parents subsidize him? Is it to keep him out of their houses? They aren’t interesting enough to have any deep dark secrets they are afraid of him spilling. Its a kick in the teeth to his sisters if they are letting him live the hobo pinot chippy lifestyle he loves.

Marcus isn’t smart enough to realise he does pay rent - it just will be coming off any housing benefit he’s entitled to. And I’m pretty sure he does pay bills ( or Sid does out of his money ) based on the fact when his hot water and heating was “ broken” he moaned about it constantly for a day then ignored all comments about it when we all know that if it was the fault of the building he would have bitched and moaned about how long it took to fix , with possibly a cringy live of him trying to sexually harass whichever poor bloke got sent to fix it . Much more likely He ( or Sid) got a bit confused with the bank holiday and forgot to top up his meter

I think they subsidise him to keep him from kicking off. Much as we joke about Sid here, it can’t be easy living in a relatively small area where lots of people know your son spends his days eating, begging and sharing his every move online . At least if they give him pocket money to go play in Tyacks or wherever, they know he’s occupied and they aren’t going to have him pissed up , screaming and trying to climb out of a tiny window 😂 . even if Sid doesn’t care , the grandkids will likely be on social media and seeing whatever bullshit he’s spouting that day .

It’s easy for us to judge but most of us haven’t had to deal with a 26 stone toddler having a full blown tantrum because they want another colin the caterpillar. I’m not saying Sid is blameless in how he’s turned out( because she really isn’t ) but I kind of get why know they just give in for an easy life .
