no you are right he is not entertaining anymore. He is gone boring, no lives, no posting, I don’t find watching people show me what face masks sponges they have bought entertaining.He can be hilarious at times without even knowing it! thats what I find the funny thing. All his scamming, his twit ways I find hilarious and he lies so much and thinks we believe him, his antics are hilarious sure we all knew he wasn’t a bloody alcoholic ffs and wasnt drinking no where near as much as he was pretending to have drank that was the hilarious part , the failed window escape, there was so much entertainment and interaction with his lives and now nothing, no interaction and i don’t think he would have as many followers today if this was his content back when first came to IG. I found him on IG i didn’t know he was on FB or had never heard of him before. Sure all you have to do is read his wiki because that is pure comical entertainment alone.

But he never did have a drink problem
Was just one of the many self created roles in his mind that he put on for his adoring crowd. Now he’s playing sober Lauren Branning responsible home owner for a bit but inevitably the scenes in his head will require him to ‘relapse’ and ‘struggle’ for another couple of weeks until one AA zoom meeting and four scatter cushions from B&M will cure him again
I wonder when in his act the Marcus who gets a job and contributes to society will crop up ?
 
But we all enjoy watching the car crash don’t we? That’s part of the entertainment? If he was actually an alcoholic, and genuinely couldn’t stop drinking and it was a problem, I wouldn’t be encouraging him to do it. But he’s not - as mentioned above it’s just a role he played for attention/money/sympathy. I also don’t think he’s been genuinely suicidal either - again it always seems like a ploy for attention/money. He’s just playing a game - and it’s a game he made up, and wanted us to play along with him. I don’t necessarily want him to drink, I just want all the shenanigans, and to enjoy the tit show because he’s a bleep.
 
I don’t particularly want him drinking an entire bottle of vodka- the one time he actually was properly drunk ( the first time he got vodka and didn’t seem to realise downing it like cider might be a bad idea) wasn’t entertaining, it was worrying . But it also showed that most of the time he was drinking water/lemonade. Plus a lot of the time he was claiming to have drunk x amount off screen while also giving, or having his booze taken by Will , maybe others.

fair enough if you think we are being mean cunts but I refuse to feel sorry for Marcus when he has openly mocked people with learning disabilities, made light of suicide, alcoholism, rape and mental health. Not to mention that by acting like he’s made it in life by getting into ” his own place” and had it kitted out , while not working only helps fuel the narrative that people not working, not actively looking for work and receiving are all tax dodging dregs of society sponging off you higher tax payers money .

Yes he's a cock, and I know he's done all those things and it doesn't change the way I feel about him but it still doesn't mean I want to see him living the way the did in the travel lodge. That was horrible. I still want to see his life improve. I'm still going to be here taking the piss, but i don't want to see him slide into street alcoholism.

I don’t think there was any chance of that happening, because none of what he did was real. It was all bullshit and lies. Part of what made the TL Days so funny was the whole ‘performance’ part of it. Now when people say ‘have a drink you boring bleep’ I find it funny, not because seeing him drink heavily is a joke, but because his scheming and role playing of an alcoholic deserves to be made fun of. And egging him on is doing just that - taking the piss out of his grand performance over the last month.

The TL “alcoholic” days in my opinion was all an act (remember someone who claimed they knew marcus came on to tattle to say that he loves to watch actors playing roles of characters with addictions or MH issues, said he would take notes and thought the acting was fantastic, not that the show was using these storylines to make awareness, Marcus was fascinated by the acting) he made multiple references to jac josss’s character lauren branning being an alcholic (i dont watch eastenders) so i think the TL days with the alcohol was Marcus role playing, I honestly don’t think he would ever slide into street alcoholism. To role play an “alcholic” on youre IG with a big following was wrong, it was insulting to people with alcohol issues/addiction/dependence. Marcus is/was supposedly an instagramer/influencer so I dont know why he would role play or try be an actor on IG. This is just my opinion of the whole alcohol thing during the TL days.

This. It's all an act. I never believed he was an alcoholic or even a binge drinker. But I believe he's a narcissistic shitbag who likes to manipulate his entire family and audience into his latest label he's self diagnosed himself with!

This is why if he did go back to 'alcoholic Marcus' I wouldn't be concerned, because it's bullshit. I do though have sympathy for anyone triggered by his behaviour and those who have genuine addiction or live with a loved one who does.

Marcus is just a mediocre cider sipper!
 
Beauts come on, i think we have all followed Marcus long enough to know that it was just his latest ploy to drum up concern & attention.
Admittedly, i myself have gone through phrases where i have started to feel sorry for him & even worry.
But it's never long before he does something that shows it was all for a reaction, in true Narcus style

I agree, id much rather him be his usual boring self. I dislike him in many ways and found him completely triggering at times.

Thats how he got a few followers id say but its not long before you suss him out :rolleyes: I have to say he’s unusually quite?? B&M trips can even cure attention seeking SM obsessed self titled influencers!

I kind of agree with all sides of this. When he play acts various issues he tip toes a fine line. He could accidentally harm himself or worse in a number of ways. He could not know his limits with alcohol and come to some harm passed out somewhere, he could fall in with the wrong crowd, get cuckood, try a dodgy substance, cause damage to his insides with an od when crying for help, break his neck jumping out of a window. I've seen it happen so many times with young people in the hostels ive worked in. Initialy they love the dramatics of it all. The rebellion is liberating and teamed with a bit of idenpendance it goes tits up pretty quickly. Before you know it they're balls deep in sex work and drug addiction and they can't break the cycle.

Edit to add i dont have any sympathy for him as he has the capacity to make informed decisions. But i dont wish him the worst outcome. Hes just a goon 🤣

Marcus was no where near an alcohlic.. he faked how much he drunk, acted drunk when he was really sober. Being honest i wish he would have a few cans because at least then he is entertaining. Hes a boring bleep atm. Tbh if he was an alcoholic or going in that direction then it would be wrong to wish him to drink. Sorry if noone agrees but this is tattle where we can each have our own opinions.. and he certainly brought this on himself. Plus he put himself in the TL because he was a bleep to his family, he deserves no sympathy.
