I have given up on Mamamia. I used to listen to their podcasts religiously but now can’t get through an episode of Outloud. Todays episode was one of the worst - whining first world problems, uninteresting topic, hosts talking about themselves. I have decided to not listen any more and unsubscribe. It’s such a shame. The Outlouders group is so toxic that I have removed myself from there as well.

These reviews were spot on for me..

Oh tit!! Read the room Mia.
Bye Jessie, you and your high horse can trot right off girl.
Jessie manages to make everything in her life seem really dramatic and like she's the only one to have ever experienced things (broken leg, anyone?) whilst also being incredibly self-deprecating at the same time. I'm don't know how she manages it, but I do know that I find it annoying

The broken leg drama made it across every single podcast and her elephant tuff hair aswell.

And now the obsession with the twins Mum 🤷‍♀️ I dont get it..

These are bang on! I wonder if they are read and taken on board or just dismissed

The wedding dress thing. Ugh - ‘my body is weirdly proportioned’ - Jessie, you’re a slim and busty gal. It’s not that odd. I think her out of touch ways reached new lows with her worst being wedding dress shopping ffs. Get a grip.

The feedback is dismissed. I tried to give some polite feedback and it was rejected. The wedding dress comment is the worst. She will never be happy - this faux “everything in my life is crap” personality is the way she gets attention. It’s almost a humble brag. I know that first world problems is a term that is way over used but this podcast is becoming so out of touch with regular people. The constant complaining about their lives is exhausting to listen to. The only one I can handle is Holly. Not that huge a fan of Emma or Claire either - they just join the whinging bandwagon.

The outloud Facebook page has so many testimonials about GPs and obesity. It's becoming a pile on.
That’s why I left the group. It was getting out of control - as if GPs are the worst people to deal with in society.

That group is just as bad as the podcast… just a whole bunch of women that all group think and talk down to anyone with a different opinion to theirs.
They way they fawn over/act like they actually know the hosts/get offended if the hosts (usually Mia) say something they don’t like is comical.
I go there for the comments, you can always bet someone’s going to be triggered by something that someone has said. Such delicate souls 🙄

Also by the looks of things Claire’s Gp did have a point, and probably many other GPs and people just can’t accept it. I said what I said. Glad I left that group.

i actually really like Claire and the Quicky. I am also someone who needs to drop a good 10kg post 2 years of lockdown and health issues - but if my GP mentioned it I’m self aware enough to know that!

I think a lot of the people that post are isolated without a support group. That's the only reason I can think of grown women posting such personal stuff on Facebook.

The stories in that group about doctors trying to do their job and getting reported to AHPRA are ridiculous!

The perpetual victim mentality of the Mamma Mia Stan’s is laughable

Should I report my GP to Ahpra because he told me to stop smoking? Same thing as reporting someone who advises their patient to lose a few kgs for their health.
