I listen to some Monday episodes which are reports on past pop culture moments, it’s a trip down memory lane and some of the events happened when I was a kid so they’re interesting to me but I cannot stand their current news reports, their research and opinions are mostly crap! I wish there were some better journalists reporting on pop culture via a podcast in Australia. The other ones I listen to are US based and they don’t tend to report on anything happening in Aus.

Thanks! I’ll give the Monday ones a listen then. I really need Sentimental Garbage to come back for a new season!

The only people that benefit are Mia and the useless influencers she keeps giving a platform to- Leigh Campbell anyone?
I hate how they keep saying they won't pay for paparazzi photos, yet they'll write stories on trash.

Her friend organised apartment would be much better on a parenting podcast as she manages a successful career PLUS being a present involved parent who actually likes her kids. Heck I’d even rather listen to a parenting podcast from Jade Cottee than LC

If anyone is interested, this is an podcast interview the Shameless girls did with the Betoota Advocate where they do not hold back about how toxic Mamamia was..I couldn't believe some of the stuff they said- for example, being told to find a 'dead baby story' (miscarriage, stillborn, etc) to publish when clicks were low!!

Thank you for sharing ! I used to read Mamamia loads, now I find all their stories rubbish and so click baity. They are just as bad as the daily fail, even worse really because they wrap themselves up as do good feminists, looking out for the little people.

Anyone would be better than Leigh but I reckon AOA would give me anxiety just listening to her regimented routine.

Agree! She is very frustrating. Totally out of touch with the listener. Who whinges about having an engagement party. And her inability to listen in arguments and just double down makes the discussion less about the audience and more about her.

Spot on! Its always about her. We learnt that after she broke her leg and it made across every single podcast on the Mamamia platform.

I just checked the podcast charts, Mamamia is number 8, Shameless is number 9. I couldnt even find Cancelled in the top 100 (unless I missed it)

Her worst last week was buying a wedding dress and this week it’s having an engagement party. It’s almost like…. She doesn’t actually want to get married.

How could one person be so ungrateful? Its almost like shes trying to be "cool" about it and she thinks its funny. Its not Jessie, quit being a spoilt brat, wipe the 10inch thick eyeliner off your face and grow up.
