Not to sound sour grapes, like obviously that house is amazing, but it so doesn’t give me $12m vibes. I guess it’s the outlook and location? Or maybe I am very out of touch. If that was my budget for a house I kind of feel like I’d want something better.
100% agree. It's its location, not the actual house. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice house, but for that price I'd certainly be wanting more. If you look at the floor plan, it's actually not that big, given its location and price tag. Doesn't look like it would offer up much privacy either, particularly with two teenagers in the house. You can also totally tell from the floor plan which room Mia uses to film her Instababbles. The house on the right next to it as you look at it front on looks a lot nicer and bigger. As for it having a carpark overlooking it, that's just weird??

I think this political posturing is rife in the eastern suburbs... Socially progressive and sometimes very much so, but they will always vote for the party that maintains their interest in staying very very wealthy.

I know this article was posted a few pages back but Jesus, Mia just has NO style or dress sense. The dresses she think look good on her are so unflattering and just awful.

I have to say I think these kinds of articles are the way I prefer Mia... She truly looks awful in every single photo, but knows it and is sharing it deliberately, along with some funny asides, and it's also interesting to see the process of picking a dress where you look bad to start off, but you know you can scrub it all up in the end. Any deeper than this and my eyes start to roll...

I heard a liberal party ad on one of the podcasts 🤮
Yes! I noticed that last week or maybe just before the election? I haven’t noticed any political ads previously.

I would say she could be more interesting, but also needs to get herself a bit away from her sisters orbit. She deserves to be more than that.
And they are constantly referred to as ‘the twins’ They’re probably very co dependent but she might shine if she’s given the opportunity to do some things alone.

I really liked Clare’s podcast. I’m not a twin but am very close in age to my sister and really feel for her.

She’s got the better deal though. Jessie will be an eastern suburbs robot in a couple of years, getting joy from hoarding sequinned jackets in the mansion Mia’s dad buys for them. Clare is just coming into her own.

Agree.

I find the pool a bit strange ... it looks small in the first photo below, but in the aerial shot it seems a decent size. The shape looks out of place though ... especially since the house has a lot of angles and edges (if it was a curvy home with columns then the pool would look far better). Personally, I'd rip it out and extend it right across the front.

I wonder if she misses her old house ...

Wow have listened to about half of the shameless/Clare podcast this morning on my run and tbh most honest and insightful thing I’ve heard from MM in a long time. Doesn’t even sound like a MM property. I’m liking Clare. She doesn’t have her sister’s ego. She’s emotionally intelligent and modest.

I know which one I'd prefer, given the choice! She must be so annoyed about everything going pear-shaped with this one. This is the one they spent lockdown in isn't it? And Jessie moved in with them.
