I don't think they owned it, it was ion the paper that they were going to purchase it and something went wrong, I think maybe the owner decided to move in?

The NSW Supreme Court found a contract for Freedman to buy the home was validly torn up, so she must vacate the property.

Do you think people would like Mia and others more if they just outright acknowledged their privilege?
I remember listening to an interview with Ava Mathews from Ultraviolett and she just outright said I know I got an advantage as her mother is well known in the fashion industry and her dad I believe was a fashion photographer.I have respect for her of admitting it.

Like I follow someone on Insta who isn't in the media but always points out she grew up poor, was a young single mother and has to work part time while doing her PHD while trying to raise her son etc but then I discovered that she lives with her much older boyfriend who is very wealthy, living rent free in his mansion in the eastern suburbs, but of course she doesn't acknowledge the privilege in that, just whinges. :rolleyes:

100% I respect Ava for acknowledging it. The products are great and I buy them repeatedly, but I wouldn’t have tried them at all if she did a Mia/ Paula Joye style total deflection of their privilege.

Mixing consultancy service payments and buying your home from the same couple is probably very common in those circles but is just asking to get messy.
 
I like Emma Gillespie! I think it was a shame that her podcast Extraordinary Stories (?) was cancelled - especially given that it was one of the main selling points whey MM launched the M+ subscription.

Perhaps they’ll rotate through people so that Jessie doesn’t feel like someone else has taken over her slot completely? I’d like to hear more from Em Vernem! Looks like she is back fully at MM now

I thought the same! Location and outlook is amazing but not much of a wow factor inside. They’re totally paying for the location. Some of the rooms looked a bit dated.

I love it when they have guest hosts, changes the entire dynamic. And they have to stop talking about themselves so much!
