I do find it odd that Jessie & Luca aren’t apparently getting any help from Mia & Jason to buy their first home. Mia is absolutely loaded, surely they could help?

They will absolutely be getting help from Mia or her Dad. Mia loves to act like shes 'self made' when her dad's money paid for her to go to Ascham (a massive leg up) knew people in publishing, she did a gap year in Italy and so on. Mia does work hard and she's not a typical trust fun baby but she didn't come from nothing. Same as Roxy

Popping in for my three monthly rant that it is a well known and established truth that Mammamia is a terrible place to work. A toxic culture of mean girl behaviour, woeful underpayment, and a strange Stockholm syndrome where Mia perpetuates a great white hope that if you stick around there for years getting paid peanuts, giving your best creative years to the company, one day you too could be Mia - a girlboss champion with an empire built on exploitation. Sadly most of the staff there work out too late that when they’re still being treated like glorified interns well into their 30s, they’re already miles behind Mia’s career trajectory.

I listened to the latest episode this morning and goodness me Clare has sidetwin energy in the extreme. She makes the most asinine little asides constantly, you can really see the effects of living forever in Jessie's shadow.
