Jessie strikes the tone-deaf gong AGAIN

I’m sorry but her likening working as a medic in the same hospital as a family member to nepo-babies is just completely ridiculous. To be a doctor you still have to study a ridiculously hard and competitive 5/6 year long degree (UK). You can’t compare this to someone like Luca being made Head of Product at his mother’s company at the ripe old age of 25 with zero qualifications.

What is wrong with this woman, seriously?!

This whole segment was a joke. Yes Mamamia is a “family business” in the sense that a husband and wife own and run it, but it doesn’t have to necessarily be handed down to family. As they said in their discussion, nepotism leads to a lack of diversity. Maybe their subscription wouldn’t be a complete flop if they hired someone from the outside, instead of giving their son a job straight out of high school/uni. Wouldn’t have it been better for Luca to go and see how other companies do things and bring those fresh ideas and skills back to Mamamia when he has learned the trade elsewhere?

Luca did not go to uni. He was hired and promoted based on his family connection with no qualifications or experience lol.

I’m just going to say it. Mia seems lonely and unfulfilled.

She is also obsessed with lesbian couples. Particularly ladies who leave long term marriages with kids and take up with female sport stars……. Just sayin.

Wow really? He went to Syd Grammar so I am sure he is very intelligent. But why deny your kid the opportunity to see what else is out there, learn different things, come back into the fold later with a wealth of experience? Nope! Nepotism at its finest.

Jessie’s pregnant

Second gen nepo baby on the way! I’m actually happy for Jessie and Luca. Baby news is always so wonderful. But for someone who is always in control of things, as she says, how does this one get through the keeper? Luca also doesn’t seem the type to have room for accidents? Part of me wonders whether Jessie wanted to differentiate her wedding from Clare’s and also beat Clare to the punch? Even subconsciously. Jessie is clearly the alpha of that relationship

Did they say it was a ‘surprise’ ? She’s been banging on about wanting a baby for the past couple of years. Even did a podcast about pregnant I think ??? Hardly an ‘accident’ she probably let it happen because he was procrastinating because he’s significantly younger.

Lol the way everyone in the outloud FB group is all mad at the threads congratulating her because they haven't had a chance to listen and be surprised 🙃 I swear these people have no lives.
Oh god glad I cancelled my subscription.
I couldn’t deal with the broken leg, the pregnancy will be even worse.
Podcast recos please anyone?
apart from the show and tell girls I find it hard to find Aussie podcasts I actually like.

I’m with you! Need some other podcasts because so many of MM have turned into drivel. Love Show and Tell - I wish they did more!
