I’ll admit that I haven’t listened to todays episode (I couldn’t handle it after the carry on in the fb group), which could very well answer my question… but wasn’t it only the 7th Dec episode where Jessie was debating the whether to have kids or not question? That seems really disingenuous now if she was 11 weeks pregnant at the time….

Tbh, being disingenuous is the undercurrent of the entire podcast (and possibly the mamamia company)

This! I’m over it. Everything is now fake on that podcast. I don’t believe anything they say anymore. I will assume that all content from MM is now tainted with some self indulgence that will come out 2 months after the piece of content. It’s really quite embarrassing for them.

And I’m sorry but an accident? A surprise?
if you aren’t using birth control and your having sex, we consider that “trying”
Agree she probably wanted to one up her sister or trap Luca. 🤦‍♀️
It also must feel so great later in life for kids when their parents have described them as ‘an accident’. duck you Jessie. Some of us would love to conceive. She’s so on the nose.

Ahhh I just have a VERY hard time believing this was an accident... She has been so deliberate and careful in questioning whether she has kids to have such an accident... She really does want to be like Mia

And Luca will be the exact same age to the month that Mia was when she had Luca and the same age as Mia’s mother had her. Mia probably tampered with the birth control

Whenever someone says it’s an accident is almost always code for “I want kids but don’t want you to think I want kids”. The amount of people I hear say that it’s an accident is so high. If you don’t want to fall pregnant that you have many types of protection that you can use. It would be better if they just said “I deliberatelywent off birth control and didn’t realise I would fall pregnant so quickly”.

Or, I want them but my partner wasn't sure...

Unsubscribing. Happy for her but after going through pregnancy loss recently the last thing in the whole world I need is to hear someone as self involved as Jessie reinvent pregnancy.
I’m sorry you are in this position. I too have a history of recurrent miscarriage and a late term loss so I know how you feel. Lucky I have my earthside baby now but the trauma of loss/infertility sticks with you. Probably why I still have the tiniest spect of tolerance for LC sharing her journey.

The posts in the Facebook group are next level. One person said she's not going to listen and she's afraid Jessie will quit.

Chloe Fisher is a great follow and speaks about pregnancy loss x

I feel the same. Sorry you have had a tough time - it’s a very hard process to go through.
I have been through a long 4 year IVF journey and am finally pregnant but I still have some complications and can’t bear to hear Jessie ramble on about her angst of being pregnant - it will be a self indulgent whinge fest.

My first child was an accident, but we say “surprise” 🫣. Didn’t use any protection one time and didn’t realise it would be that easy to get pregnant. The number of people who say “accident” then you ask what birth control they use and they say none or pull out method 🥴
