I’ve been watching this since it started but haven’t been keeping up with this thread so here are some of my opinions on the couples:

Harrison is just awful. He’s emotionally vacant/void. He seemingly lacks empathy. I personally think it’s a crying shame that this person was let on the show clearly due to how showrunners recognised he could fill the role of this season’s antagonist meaning someone who genuinely is struggling to find a partner missing out on an opportunity that they could significantly benefit from. Same with Shannon. Why on Earth is on this show if he still harboured feelings for his ex prior to entering the experiment? I feel so sorry for Caitlin being partnered with him when she’s a genuinely nice girl. You can tell he’s a proper bullshitter.

I think Lyndall and Cameron are quite similar to Jordan and Chanita who were seen as the ‘golden couple’ on last year’s MAFSUK. In my opinion, they’ll skate through most of the experiment with very few hitches but I think they’ll experience lots of problems in the final few weeks of the show. Maybe the fact that this is Cameron’s first proper relationship will cause issues to arise.

I like the young couple. They seemed to have been matched quite well.

I think Janelle and Adam won’t last as a couple. They’re both on different wavelengths. She’s an aspiring influencer I think and he clearly doesn’t have a stable source of income. He’s constantly making her feel guilty for questioning him. For example, he tried to make out that she was a gold digger due to how she continuously pressed him in regard to how he earns a living and my alarming bells started ringing when he didn’t want Janelle to check his phone during confessions week. However, rather than him outwardly say this, he duped her into feeling guilty for wanting to check his phone by stating he has no desire to check her phone. Personally, I do think it’s an invasion of privacy to check someone’s phone if you have no reasons to be suspicious regarding who they’re in contact with but given Adam had been accused of cheating the night before the phone-checking task it only would further arouse suspicion that he was hesitant to be complicit in this task.

I honestly don’t know what to say about Claire and Jesse. I’m not invested in them as a couple as if I was in Claire’s shoes, even though he’s trying to make amends with her, I’d still feel like I’d be forever treading on eggshells when I’m around him. Personally, I think he needs some mental help to boost his esteem and to stamp out his insecurities, before entering a serious relationship.

I can’t bring myself to unfollow so dramatic lol so I saw those photos earlier and know which couple it is 🙊 I try to just scroll past their posts quickly haha.

Anyway there’s a lack of attractive men this series so I’m going to leave Brent here 😍

 
This thread has given some right lols.

Harrison is an absolute piece of work, I watched yesterday's episode at lunchtime today with my 17 yr old in the background. She stopped in her tracks when she heard his behaviour towards Brontë on the balcony, she was like WTF!! I told her to keep watching and take note of the guys you want to run from.

He is devoid of any emotion, I think I've only seen him smile twice which is weird in itself.

I can understand Mel's passion and sex drive, and as a 45 year old my own sex drive has gone through the roof. My poor hubby can't keep up with me 😂 but the way she goes on and on in the way that she does is so off putting and unattractive. Why didn't she try and seduce him it would have been much sexier, what she's doing to the poor guy must be making him so on edge. He's not a performing monkey!

Time for another batshit crazy episode, I don't know whether to be repulsed by Mel's behaviour (I actually am), or to be plain jealous. If she's had sex so good that she literally can't live without it, then I've missed out somewhere along the line.
