I usually quite like James and Maeva but this series I cannot stand them!!

Maeva constantly butting into Miles business, pretending like she’s just concerned for Issy when really she just wants to be in the know of all the gossip.

screaming at Liv for essentially nothing and then crying and acting like the victim because Liv understandable bit back. Using her pregnancy to gain James’ sympathy ‘she was so mean to me James it’s really messing with my emotions’ etc and why on Earth should liv apologise!? Plus telling lies that even James admits aren’t true.

James is just an idiot who is clearly not a good friend and is therefore going to end up with no friends. He was unnecessarily mean to Tristan when they spoke and whilst I can understand them being upset that Tristan has said they only got engaged because of the baby… it’s not exactly untrue is it!? James constantly said he didn’t want to get engaged and wasn’t ready, Maeva proposed and he said no etc etc etc and then they coincidentally end up getting engaged and pregnant at the same time….. errr ..

And the final straw for me, was the gross PDA session of embracing each other when James got back, James calling Maeva baby 🤢 and why did they not just meet at home? And why did Maeva piss off so James could meet Liv 😂

Yeh I thought James was actually quite spiteful and cruel to Tristan, who I don’t like - but it still doesn’t reflect well on James.

Good luck Maeva, he’s a weak man who will turn on his friends with little provocation. Wouldn’t fancy marrying that type of man, if he can turn on his friends he can turn on you. Good luck hun, hope the money is worth it

Remember when James, Miles, and Tristan were the best of friends? It's funny they are all still stuck in each other's lives when they clearly hate each other now.

I think James has taken the right approach by cutting off all friends from the show because at least he doesn't have to have a million stupid conversations with idiots like Rez or Julius. Not that Maeva is easy to be around lol but he actively chose that.

Tbf miles changes his best mate each series 😂

I think they are just trying to make it look like that for clout tbh.. I listened to this weeks 'Wednesday we drink wine' podcast and Melissa was saying how she has seen her ex Toby (the one that she said she'd relapsed with) a few times whilst being in Bali and she hopes he will want to rekindle with her. She actually sounded a bit beggy imo. She basically confirmed that people speculating he's going to be on the show is just false, and that he is just in bali for work.. So I doubt Toby would be into it if she was doing bits with miles in Bali! But who knows - they're all so incestuous!

jeez Melissa I feel a bit bad for her. She’s obviously really obsessed with this Toby fella. Sounds like he’s her first rejection and that one stings the worst I think. It took me yeaaaars to get over the breakup of the first guy who broke up with me - the rejection hurt long after I’d gotten over him. I spent a lot of energy on hurting over that rejection and I wish I’d known how to just accept it and move on.

in my experience though, when a guy breaks up with you, it’s usually because 1. He’s been thinking about it a while and he’s 100% sure he’s done. He’ll have checked out. And 2. He’s freaked out a bit

if it’s no.1 then nothing. Nothing. Will change his mind. He might feel affectionate towards you, he might still enjoy your company, he might enjoy sleeping with you - but he will never change his mind on wanting to be with you. He’s made his mind up. It hurts like nothing else but theres no choice but to accept that.

if it’s 2. Then he might change his mind. But IME guys freak out if the pace is going too fast for them or they feel overwhelmed. They freak out because they aren’t good at articulating their feelings. Having hook ups, meet ups etc. Won’t alleviate that. Time apart will. It’ll give him space to think about what he wants, and if you’re off doing your own thing, it takes pressure off the relationship.

in other words, going in a podcast to talk about him, and meeting up with him - will never help salavage that relationship.

my fiancé was a bit of a commitmentphobe when we started dating and he broke it off after we’d been seeing each other for a few months.
I was gutted and a more naive version of myself would’ve tried to engineer a few more meet ups in the hope he’d realise what a mistake he’d made and he’d rediscover all the things he liked about me. But I’d learned from bitter experience that guys see right through that and it never worked.

so I basically just decided to get on with my life. Went to gym classes, met up with friends, took myself on museum dates etc. Kept myself busy to take my mind off him (and posting it on my stories for him to see didn’t hurt either). Right enough, he reached out a couple of weeks later and now we are engaged.

So Lily Ludovici (the girl who knocked on Tiff’s door on her wedding night) is in Bali with a bunch of insta girls and is meeting Emily, Melissa and Ruby for dinners and hangouts. I wonder if she’s coming back on? If she does, what would be her storyline? There aren’t many single guys on the show.

(Ps I’m on series 4) Hahaha wtf so dramatic Louise telling Millie and Rosie about Spencer moving in with the boys. How did they keep a straight face. Sorry some of the issues she has I understand but the beginning part of her announcing it was soo extra like someone died or something.

Lol I love the whisper crying Louise does. Her way of communicating with people is just so bizarre and over the top at times.

Back in the day Jim Shelley used to do episode recaps on the Daily Mail and everytime he quoted something Louise said he would write it with a lot of drawn out syllables to emphasize her over the top enunciation and then say 'That's Louise trying to sound posh like all the rest of the girls'.

I remember those articles omg, they were hilarious and so astute

Ugh I hope not. She was so try hard

She really was awful in that relationship

she’s awful in all her relationships. I’ll always remember her not getting on with Stevie, who then proceeded to tell his bestie Andy (Louise’s boyfriend at that time, or maybe recent ex), rather scathingly;

“thank you so much for bringing her into our lives”

it was one of Stevie’s finest moments in the show. If anyone knows which episode it’s in, please let me know 😂

Remember how Spencer would gloat like a narcissistic creep that she never behaved that way with him and then say he rubbed off on her? Like his eyes would light up just thinking about how Louise became the female him.

I love how Stevie clearly could not stand to be in the same room as her and when Andy told him about how Louise didn't answer her phone a lot because she is always losing them, Stevie was just deadpan, "Yeah...Nobody loses that many phones mate." That's my favorite line of his haha.

Stevie 😭😭😭 I miss him so much, he was too pure for that show

Obviously the show used to be somewhat scripted too but I feel like at least they were geniuine relationships and friendships.. nowadays it seems the majority of the cast only sees each other during filming. How did they get the cast so wrong?! I don’t think any of them even live or are from Chelsea except liv?!

It used to be such a good show!
