I don't believe for a second Ali would have been in agreement with Lydia to bring a horse into the Millen Gordon family, as she put it.

She said "I've spoken to Ali in length about it", but she didn't say what he said exactly or thought about having a horse.... and I wonder why, that speaks volumes right there. There would have been a lot of convincing and persuading, he wouldn't of been easily swayed.

My hunch is the feeling wouldn't have been mutual.
