i Didn’t realise it doesn’t have a garage …….

estate agents fees would be approx 1% then Sols to sell and buy about 4-5k for decent Sols

Then stamp duty on the next house if they bought the next house for 850k let’s say then that’s approx 30 k in stamp duty that needs paying (it’s a rip off and I hate stamp duty but what can you do!)
 
do we think she will have the common sense to downsize and get something more affordable for the long term or do we think she will get carried away and end up in another home she has to sell to downsize ?

Is this another one of her ‘pretentious sayings’ she’s plucked out from doing a google search, or from her pea brain on posh names to call wine/wine spritzer, is it?

Why doesn’t she just call it what it is…wine! I’m drinking a glass of wine, or in this case a wine spritzer!

She thinks she's being fancy, but it comes across as her sounding foolish and not to mention her problematic behaviour consuming lots of alcohol when merely going on a hike or doing some gardening.

Does she really drink wine spritzer?? Stoped watching her nontent videos, but wine spritzer combines wine (usually white) and club soda, and I`ve only seen wine bottles being poured...
I like to treat myself to a glass of chilled wine, and always only wine, ;) it seems to me like desecration to pour water over the wine, IMO it spoils its taste

Not one of the shower rooms or unique bathroom are a statement room. They are all little cubby holes like those in small flats or cheap hotels.

I don't know about her getting ready to sell. Could be right but wouldn't she need to repair all the damp/water issues in the basement?

Or does she think just throwing a new floor on top of the problem will take care of everything?

Sadly, I wouldn't put it past her to just decorate over any problems and hope that a potential buyer knows nothing.

Hopefully, she knows there are legal ramifications if she does that.

Well, I know that's the case in the States.

BTW, I just sold my house in Seattle! Thankfully, it sold just 5 days after listing it on the market.

Difference is I fixed everything and then some, along with some upgrades.

Also, all my rooms are in cohesion style wise vs Lydiot's mish mash styling of her upside down Bunga.

Yes, agree, a lovely glass of wine on it's own, is the most enjoyable way to drink it. I couldn’t mix my wine mixed with a carbonated soda, and then add ice too..Sacrilege! It would water down and weaken the taste of the wine, imo. It defeats the purpose.

Lydia posted a video on her tiktok of her doing some fake gardening with a wine spritzer in hand, what she called "adult squash". The beverage consisted of one part organic rose, one part san pellegrino mineral water and ice. But, yes, most of the time she usually drinks wine straight up…either on the side of the road somewhere on her hike or in her greenhouse, apparently.

We drink spritzers quite a lot especially during summer, for example when we're sailing and drinking a little all day, not exactly to be drunk but just to feel a little buzz. It's still hydrating and feels more light. But yeah it's usually mixed with cheap(er) wine and not meant to be fancy. It depends of the country too, when my french friend saw that he almost died but it's generally pretty common in my country.

They keep junk I it, suitcase, tiles… bathrooms are of no use , she doesn’t like water.
when she redid the downstairs bathroom we all expected pics of her in the tub with petals and candles… nada, never seen.
