She wore this monstrosity to Frow's wedding in Provence so this is clearly a newly made up 'problem' for the idiot.

She acts like every wedding she attends is a society wedding and she needs a grand ODLR or Elie Saab gown. In reality she would be fine in one of her Karen Millen dresses or something from Self-Portrait. She only want's to wear a big designer and stick it with an Hermes to show off to the other guests how unsuccessful she is. She just wants to be talked about and doesn't care if it is negative or positive. If it is negative she will just gaslight everyone with her bullshit.

I'd let all the guests know well in advance the dress code and what's not allowed. If madame turned up in her normal gonna-upstage-bride-anyway attire, it'd be straight back to Bunga. Without Ali. He can stay and entertain us with his dance moves.

Emily Canham is a lot slimmer and taller than Lydia. There is no way Lydia is a size 2. Emily, imo, is an unhealthy size 2.
I would say Lydia is a normal size 6 and sometimes, when she wants the clothes to be uber tight and uncomfortable, a size 4. She places way too much emphasis on sizing.

This is all about upbringing and knowing what is or what isn’t appropriate to say at the table where there are others to consider vis food. For all the begging that had to be done for that table ( another freebie) this is what the Benefactor gets! It should have been left out in the edit you are absolutely right. From 1-10 on the GQ (grim quotient) it’s a strong 9. They really don’t know how to behave and would be better off sticking with their sophisticated battered sausages as a takeaway. That Eve’s Attic is so small there is only one area where she can stand up! That’s why she has to stoop like Uriah Heep to the camera because there is stoop space only…Should have used the big room in the basement as her dressing room ( the room with no natural light!) then she’d have had room to stand up and space to hang all her frocks. As it is for the job she’s chosen she is badly equipped to be able to do it properly. There would have been lighting solutions to the unused basement room and all of it tax deductible…She could have kept the bar if she’d wanted to.

They would have told themselves that that room would make a great party room when they bought the house. It’s been used about 4 times in as many years (usually to put up the Christmas tree). Such a waste of space. They have to come upstairs to find a loo that works! Sooo impressive. They don’t entertain enough to warrant that room. Same as they don’t cook enough to warrant 2 kitchens. Sad really.

I totally agree. I think I said years ago they could have set it up like Sheer Luxe have, with different backgrounds, seating etc. Such a versatile space. They could both have done so much in there and saved their posture!

Their pasture (I’ll leave that typo in; because I like it better) is secondary to the onslaught we have to suffer 🎄🫣 whilst watching their grovels. The thing that amuses me is when they are in tall rooms they still both carry on stooping to camera trying to flog their whatever’s…It’s too funny. It’s like it’s ingrained in them to stoop because they are so used to stooping in small spaces at home. It’s particularly funny when they are in country houses with really tall ceilings and there they are stoop, stoop, stooping and grovelling to sell, sell, sell! Urgh…

Has anyone seen the pics from Vogue of the 80/90’s supermodels? The original supers that is. Naomi Campbelll, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista. They are all in their 50’s wearing stylish clothes, including jeans and no prarie dresses in sight. They look amazing in the posts I’ve seen. Lydia looks far older than her years because of her style of shouldn’t I say lack thereof. Leaving her personality aside she can still look lovely but just doesn’t help herself. She was definitely at her best circa 2016/2017 and life went downhill trying to emulate Josie and princess of wales IMO.

And the subclasses don't count as it doesn't even seem to be a garden book. It's like classing a cooking book as a mental health book as well because cooking is "good for the soul".

The editors are as thick as Lydia. Anything for marketing. It's hard to know what the book is truly about as she clearly can't give and clear explanation, but it sounded like it was about her mental health journey.

Reminder that Lydia calls period dramas =>historic dramas. Can't expect her to be able to classify her book properly.

Trying to emulate the PoW ??? Highlights and horrible dresses obsession say otherwise. Does she not realise that Kate is just a normal human being wearings jeans and casual tops on her down time?

Yes I think that is part of the disconnect with Lydias new style. She is trying to dress like Kate when Kate is at 'work' meeting people and attending events, it is not what she wears in her down time. Lydia doesn't seem to get that people don't dress that way in everyday life, they wear those outfits for occasions. Kate attends events 5 days a week so we see her wearing those types of outfits often but she isn't swanning around her home in them and she definitely isn't doing the food shop or school run in them. I don't believe Lydia actually wears these outfits at home, only when she is filming. I do believe that she goes out dressed liked it though as she wants people to believe she is from aristocracy but the people who see her most likely think she is crazy.

Does she get a kick out of look at me I am wearing more than you? cos that’s the only reason I see why she does it and for people to talk about her “look at her who does she think she is type comments” that’s the attention of others even if negative- but her satisfaction is she was wearing the most expensive things and obviously people must be jealous so “I’ve won”. Wearing those clothes with others wearying those clothes no one gives a crap and see doesn’t hang out with people in that league. Is there a name of this sort of behaviour other than mean or narcissistically?
