Depends if they are Grand Prix, will be anywhere upward of £100k, the Olympic Grand Prix horses are c£1m.... that's before she gets it scanned and vetted and shipped, insured and then kits it out with all new tack etc.....its a very expensive hobby and will be a money pit!

I also don't know why she needs such a high level horse....average rider on high level horse will just ruin all its training and form bad habits and will go down in value!

That’s just made me choke on my cup of tea!! I now understand why my parents wouldn’t let me get a horse when I was younger 😂😂😂
Are any of her existing horses (Prada/Jupiter/Caramelo) that sort of level.
I am honestly gobsmacked at those sort of prices.
She knows she’s average, but its status for her isn’t it. She can afford it, so she gets it. She couldn’t handle Jupiter but luckily I think she realised she was going to ruin him and did the right thing.

Jupi is probably her highest level horse and she can’t ride it for tit. Prada was definitely not cheap but seems more push button and chilled out, however Luisa still looks shite riding her.

Know nothing about horses but love niche hobby tea so thank you for sharing! Who should be riding these top tier horses, then? Surely these horses are intended for Olympians/athletes/other professionals? Is there a risk to the horse’s health (mental or physical) if it’s underutilised?

Haha I’m here for it. Luisa’s equine antics cause quite a stir on the ‘equestrian influencers’ thread sometimes.
Luisa does an adequate job on Prada when she’s under instruction but she’s notorious for not taking instructors advice. Prada would go a lot further with someone willing to put a lot more time in to both of their training as a duo, Luisa only ever seems to hop on for a jolly with her mates and competitions.

She’s not a good enough rider for Jupi, he’s far too advanced - she said a while ago he kept doing tempi changes in her dressage test, but he wouldn’t do that unless he thought she was asking him to, meaning her riding aids aren’t advanced or clear enough for a horse of his level. She doesn’t post a lot about Caramelo so I can’t really comment on him. She gets a lot of people’s backs up in the horse world as she has the money to just piss away on horses, transport, tack, competition fees etc meaning she can enter the competitions she has done, but it’s annoying she doesn’t use her (husbands) money for some top level instructing which, on the horses she can afford to buy, she would be able to soar to a pretty high level. I think it comes back to her high opinion of herself and she thinks she doesn’t need the instruction and posted those stories moaning about an instructor who tried to humble Luisa and correct her crappy techniques. Hell she could even afford instruction from Olympic riders but she doesn’t seem to put the time in, only money.

the bit about the risk to horses health is a hard one to answer - some horses thrive constantly being worked for what they’re bred for (definitely Jupi’s case) whereas some ex racing horses are happy living out their days in a field. Horses for courses I guess if you’ll pardon the pun 🤣 although with the lovely facilities she has and the amount of stable staff, her horses are always super well cared for and exercised around her house’s grounds, so that’s a positive.
 
Carmelo is being brought back into work after a very long bout of illness. Not sure exactly what it was but basically she’s fortunate to have money as he had a lot of veterinary treatment inc stem cell treatment if I recall correctly.

Jupi is a very talented horse but a lot of dressage judges don’t like Iberian horses!

Carmelo is a pretty horse who she can prance about on at an amateur level...she'll not push him too hard after injury 😉

That’s without the cost of building the stables and groom room, all her fancy kit, the jumps, the polo practice pitch, the various trainers she has, the horse lorry and cost of running it etc.

It must be eye watering!
God knows what the big house costs to run as well.

I keep two (and a half) horses and yesterday I sat down and worked out exactly what i spend.
I have them at home - Modest little cottage. Have a 4x4 and trailer - no lorry.
No regular lessons and no grooms but all the other stuff - I was gobsmacked
She must be spending £50k a month on them! The two lorries, all the arena and gallop hires, the grooms, the £3k saddles that forever appear, the £1500 + pairs of riding boots most of us can only dream of but she has them 2/4 custom made pairs at a time....

Thanks for answering. It’s staggering isn’t it. I would love to know the hubby’s current value.

I always say I have a bit of a love hate relationship with Luisa. Sometimes I find her very funny but the majority of the time, especially lately I just find her annoying and tone deaf. I am definitely envious of (some of) her lifestyle and can admit that. My life has changed drastically in recent years (mainly due to my health) and I have never been in a worse financial position so of course seeing someone with SO MUCH can be hard. I guess I just need to find a rich old man 👴🏻
However, what I do know is that my daughter trusts me, feels safe and looked after and knows she is and always has been my number one priority. She also knows that although I’ve had nights off and the odd holiday away from her, my best times and memories are always time spent with her ❤️ She knows and I have often told her she is the best thing that happened to me…not that I regrets having her and wouldn’t have kids if I had my time again.
 
I love Imo. She’s clearly inteligent with a lot of interesting things to say. I wish she was included more tbh

Anna is cringy & icky as well. She tries so hard to pretend she’s had this really wild past & done loads of shagging about (probably trying to compete with luisa) don’t think she has a clue how cringy & embarrassing she is 🙈

I can’t stand it when she always comes out with the same quote “slutty college years” in that awful accent when all Anna is probably referring to is at most a one night stand once , whilst Luisa is taking about things like swinging clubs and Anna is too scared to do much as try Anal.
