I really disliked the video. It’s was so scattered and it’s left me in no doubt that she has no style at all. She has no awareness of what colours and shapes suit her, how can she make good content about clothes?
The white dress was the nicest outfit of them all and she was so dismissive of it, because it’s something she wore two years ago. But SUSTAINABLE Girlies! Or whatever cringe thing she kept saying. She couldn’t articulate what was good bad or indifferent about anything, why Make fashion content at all?

I have a similar body shape to Lucy which is why I appreciate her being on YouTube and making style content. I'm all for body positivity!! But I also believe in dressing for my shape because it makes me feel more confident and comfortable. I feel she is so stuck in the trends. The onesie/ leotard thing does my head in. Maybe that trend hasn't taken off in Australia but it is horrendous IMO (for anybody to wear as casualwear lol).

The white dress was the most flattering on her body and she should defo wear more shapes like this, but as you say she was so dismissive of it, like when she wore the floral mini a couple of vids back I think, she said the same thing. I totally loved that trend too because it suited my body. She should really just embrace it and not worry about the trends or whatever. That would be the sustainable approach.

Tbf think she gave up on the term capsule wardrobe a while ago

Her conclusions on were that she needs more bags because she used all of the bags she currently has (no I don't know why she needs more either) and that because the app tracks the percentage of how often you wear your clothes it can help you get rid of things you don't wear. Obviously she only used it for like 5 days so no real conclusions.

This actually sounds like an interesting idea; I wonder if there's a better app that could do that? I'm definitely guilty of clothes hoarding!

Yes moving house is stressful but my god she is just so unbelievably tone deaf right now even more so than usual.
The stress of packing up to accommodate upcoming trips to Spain and NYC, poor lamb. She has zero clue and would do well to tone it down a bit.
(Also, snarky but I can’t resist: maybe a capsule wardrobe I’m hearing so much about would help? 🤭)

Not Miss Sustainable Queen complaining about someone reusing plastic? Even more ironic when she herself failed so bad at posting her own clothes to other people when she was advertising an app.

Her activism for Pakistan was so shallow it's offensive ("so shocking"), followed by even more shallow influencer content. She is so far up her own ass, it's amazing.

I hate it when the AD is hidden at the end of a long video title  it should be the first thing you see before clicking and giving someone the views!

Lucy saying "Somehow I manage it" giving Michael Scott vibes.

So I screenshot this part from her stories. Anyone care to try explain it? Shia shouldn’t have a career, in a job he’s clearly brilliant at because he was at one time an absolute bastard and is trying not to be now? Make it make sense please.

he’s a domestic abuser and it’s inexcusable but does that mean he forfeits the right to ever work again in his chosen field? Someone should make sure Mia Goth is okay first.

Edit; I’ve done some googling and he has a trial for abuse set for April 2023. I stand by my above about his career but the “recovery” stuff I believed may be just trying to set himself up for good standing at the trial. That makes him even more disgusting if that is the case.

I assumed Lucy perhaps meant that the industry is a trigger for him and he should get sober and take a long time away if he's serious about it.

HOWEVER, I also to agree with the idea, but in another sense. FKA Twigs raised a really good point in her interview about this, that Shia essentially has a pattern of abusing girls he meets on set, and that aside from professional abuse (see Mia Wasikovska), a lot of his exes are costars and it follows a similar trajectory. As such, film sets become places that enable Shia’s behaviour and basically put him in proximity with these girls who are harmed by him. So yeah, he can step away tbh.

Her latest video, saying how she never liked her room and “wasn’t being a princess” because the “vibes were off”?? Lucy pls read the room in the middle of a housing crisis, where people are struggling to afford hovels that landlords are letting for extortionate prices. Be grateful for the gorgeous house you got to live in, when i had complaints about my rentals it was a front door that didn’t lock, water pouring through the ceiling, horrific mould, a slug infestation… not ‘the vibes’ alone

Of course she complained about her room. Lucy, who has never had to share with more than 2 flatmates, has always had decent sized rooms post-uni and a lovely living room (which is becoming less and less common in London) would find something wrong with the flats she chose to live in.
She sounds like someone who buys a house and sells after a couple of years because x, y and z were not right 🙄

Gluten free wasn’t even trendy. I’ve literally never seen anyone talk about it more than her. And I have gluten allergy.
It’s the most boring thing in the world.

Also, that “AI picks my outfits” video really shows how incompetent she is if you put it up against what it was trying to model itself on - Safiya Nygarrd.
