Watched the sober video, good luck to her it seems apparent she really struggles and would be a pain in the bum to be around a person behaving like that. I cut out a friend whose behaviour became too much for me to cope with when they drank, which was more often than not. I felt guilty but...it had to be done. Others stuck around and it only escalated.

She has also mentioned a clinically under active thyroid amd cutting out alcohol will help. Also switching to decaff (and other things) but since she's always clutching a tea/coffee I mentioned it.

Could the AD be any more subtle, I think not.
And people wonder how she’s able to buy a house. Those cookies give her 5-11% on anything someone buys from that retailer in the next month or so
She's a real linker isn't she! (never click) I wonder if she realises that self employed people really struggle with getting paid, it is not just an influencer thing, influencers have the advantage of shilling merch to their loyal fans.

So Hours is a 'lifestyle company' but the product they're trying to make is really difficult, which is why it's taking so long. What is it!?

I'm convinced it's a candle or home fragrance... I think her poor project management skills are why it's taking so long.

I managed to make it through her video (!) and found it interesting. It was VERY clear when she began doing YT full time that her pivot to beauty was unnatural and now she admits it was due to needing a selling point/brand. I found her talking about her goals interesting... she'll waffle on about her nail polish but brushes past that she wants to visit her Nan's grave and why. She really doesn't seem to have her prioritise right. The whole video just makes her seem very directionless, there's no talk of working for her goals they just sort of happened

My bet is Hours will be a line of journals based on this.

She mentions she's "... always more of a learner and a follower than an authority" in the context of beauty, but I really think this holds true for all of her content and maybe that's why I've had a hard time enjoying it the last few months. I feel like she's never actually doing anything original and imo she doesn't have authority for any kind of content, i.e., beauty, fashion, finances, etc.

Had a good chuckle at her saying she thought she was more on a "celebrity pipeline" like girl...

Can't believe she wants to go to all these countries but can't find the time to visit her nan's grave like ???

Exactly. I was going to say something similar to this about her recent summer outfits video. To me, the way she was talking about her clothes was bizarre. Like, I get trying to think more carefully about what style you tend to lean towards, and to think about how you would actually wear certain clothes, before making purchases. It’s a way to stop yourself from just buying constantly or wanting to buy constantly, and just buying anything that looks cool, etc. So I guess some of that is a good mindset to cultivate.

But I’m watching her talk about the clothes thinking, “Lucy, you aren’t a stylist”. Like she’s adopting this tone of voice and approach as though she is a professional stylist for hire when in reality she’s just your basic 20 something with disposable income chasing trends and trying to look like a YouTube/TikTok fashion girl. But everything she buys then becomes so Important and she acts as though she has this great wisdom to share, when she just bought some mediocre trendy clothes she probably won’t care for in a few years anyway. She overthinks everything SO much and cares so much about things she does and things she buys ‘matching up’ with some ideal cool vision of herself that she sees through social media. I also think it’s why she makes such awful clothing decisions anyway, she’s convinced herself she has to follow these weird rules when she could just buy some things she likes and looks good in.

What does everyone think of her new hair cut/dye job? I remember her sharing 3 hair cuts and asking people to vote on their favourites. What she got literally looks nothing like any of them - if I remember correctly. It looks exactly like it did before but with some red (burgundy?) highlights?

Wow just watched her latest video. She is so smug.
How disgusting and dishonest is it to sit on her stories complaining about the cost of renting when all along she was buying a house?
To add insult to injury her enthusiasm about becoming a "nomad" for a couple of months because they need to be out of they're flat by September. Lucy, some people will be out of their rented flats by September with no home to move in to.

I remember her previous hair cut she said she got a 'baby shag' cut and I was like???? shag where? You have like two layers?
It makes me so frustrated because she throws out all these terms for hair/makeup/clothes but clearly has no real idea what they actually mean

Has that video happen yet?

11 comments though? I have a much smaller following than her and often get more 😂

Ive always thought hours is a journal too. When she originally announced the delay (it was like… we have to start again) it sounded like one deadline slipped so then a) theyd have to redesign with new dates and b) it meant they couldn’t launch for a whole year because who’s buying a journal in April (or whenever).

so do you think it’ll make a Christmas 2022 release or will it be delayed another year

The irony of releasing a delayed line of journals cause you were too disorganised and lazy 😴

I’m wondering if she’s going to try to tie it in with her 168 hours series now someone’s mentioned Hours could be a journal/diary, I feel like that’s the most popular thing she’s done (?) and it’d be smart for branding or whatever?
