I'm still in shock that they had a 3-bed (three bedrooms!) maisonette and how massive it was when she did the tour. Feels like she was very careful on how the flat was presented while she was living there - living room looked half the size (though granted they wasted the space), didn't mention Jack's office and only showed her little office. And they were comfortably paying over 2 grand in rent and still saving for a house.

Anyone know what Jack does? Because Lucy must be making mint for doing tit all every day.
 
Well that might be one of the laziest vlogs I've ever seen? One segment was Lucy walking away from her camera adjusting her trousers, chatting to someone while taking a bite of pizza and then walking back towards the camera again. Another is her laughing at herself in a mirror. More chat about her clothes than what they were doing or where they were going.

My favourite clip was 'look who I'm with!' Then shows someone and doesn't say who they are (Apparently it's someone called Jack Edwards and he needs no introduction, I'm just uncultured).

Thanks for the recap. I followed Lucy a couple of years ago, for a few months only, but can't bring myself to unfollowing this thread. She's such a bizarre character 😂
 
I had to comment about something I saw on her Twitter! It was a video of Steven Bartlett, talking about Influencers on tiktok doing a vlog of their day and barely working. I thought why has Lucy posted this, that’s exactly what she does! Then I realised she had posted it criticising it! She seems really conscious to defend that she does work really hard! I think it must be quite an insecurity for her.

I feel the exact same! Maybe it's because I don't follow too many people but found Lucy years ago and find it such a shame how she is now.

For me it's the fact that she puts so little effort into what she does. And effort doesn't = time. I'm sure in her head she's busy busy busy but when all your doing is taking a picture of your coffee, trying free makeup and rummaging through your bag for a 'photo shoot' it's just laughable. There is no way she would manage a 'normal' job and she's so defensive about any criticism.

For me it's the the way she over explains basic things in a really slow way as if she's imparting some great knowledge, like how she's loving wearing sunglasses on her head as if it's not something we all do in Summer. She literally made a video about how to wear a white t shirt. She also talks about having a capsule wardrobe when she has enough clothes that she has enough that some are in storage all year and she seems to be buying more every few videos. Her use of the word 'sober' suggests she was previously constantly under the influence of alcohol due to addiction and she could talk about binge drinking and having an unhealthy relationship with alcohol without making out that she's dependent and has an addiction. She also makes comments about not being able to afford some things, like buying a Loweve bag, then in the same video talks about how she dropped hundreds of pounds on a creased linen co-ord. The comedy poses and outfits are the cherry on top of the cake.

The really slow way she talks about basic things!! You are so right! Yes as if she’s imparting knowledge no-one else has ever heard of!!
 
I find her fascinating in a twisted beige rich girl way but had to unsubscribe because I'm sick of being tricked into watching ads every time, she never posts anything unless it's for a brand deal. I wish she would put the ads at the end or start of a video instead of a lengthy segment in the middle each time about fecking sky cinema. And what does she do on that laptop when she 'works' when she uploads so rarely??

she is probably finding pieces for her "capsule wardrobe", that is definitely a full time job itself;)

For me it's also the fact that she thinks her influencer persona is being this meta, socially aware influencer who doesn't really play the influencer game but has a lot of philosophical opinions about ~her profession~ ... which clashes with the reality that others have described perfectly: She is really lazy and REALLY bad at being an influencer.

I still remember when she asked her followers how they would describe her content because she could not come up with a "brand" herself. I think she deludes herself a lot about the things she does (see also: her drinking, her living situation, her capsule wardrobe, ...) She will end up being the pretentious wife of Jack with no personality of her own.

That reminds me of that video she made where she essentially thought she was going to be famous, goals of presenting, doing podcasts, bringing out products etc. I think she thinks she’s a big YouTuber. Don’t get me started on her trying to make it on TikTok! Makes me cringeeee!
 
Why is the dumb cow posting about earache on her stories and asking people what it could be...? I legit have no words. Fair enough her GP appointment is going to be by phone (as she says not looking in her ear) but wtf does she think her insta audience is going to do? Magically be able to close their eyes and picture her ear?
