In her stories yesterday when discussing her being affected by the rent crisis, she talks about the crazy prices for houses that are really in poor condition and not up to standard. Fine. However when she discusses houses they viewed but didn’t pursue in her video it seems her main issue with 2 of the 3 places was they didn’t meet her standard for natural light. Now I don’t think any renter should have to live in a dark dungeon but she is choosing to live in one of the most populated cities in the world. Again, it’s just her privilege showing, that she’s able to turn down places because the lighting isn’t to her taste. That’s not the same problem that other people are facing that she’s trying to relate to

Totally- she has always blamed a lack of natural light and environment for her poor work ethic. Really I just feel she's lazy and doesn't want to put in the extra work of setting up lighting or editing footage (which she clearly has the knowledge and equipment to do). She could live somewhere cheaper and rent a small office or studio or something (she seems to have enough money) which might even give her the illusion of actually working as well. But nah, she just complains.

Off topic but I'd love to be a fly on the wall in one of her therapy sessions. Therapists can only go off the information you give then, and I'd love to hear how she portrays herself/her life and work.

Not sure why she doesn't just use artificial light like the rest of YouTube. Then she wouldn't have it as an excuse though.

I remember when she discussed therapy a few years ago (2018) and explained how she claimed to be 'lower income' so that she could get a lower fee for her therapy sessions and took up a space in the therapist's "quota". Always left a bad taste in my mouth.
 
The whole natural light thing is just a testament to her lack of natural inspiration.
There are so many YouTubers who make videos with minimal natural light, because they live in the city or a smaller apartment.
Also, there is always the possibility of going outside since she has access to parks and public areas. I think she’s just mad she doesn’t live in Estee LaLondes flat. But that doesn’t mean that you will suddenly become more creative.

It was very cringy, but also hard to understand what it is that’s upset her. Is she just upset she’s getting older, that her friends are getting married, at the concept of time itself?
everyone has their own experience but nothing she mentioned seemed worth crying over.

Yeah Estee is really proof that an apartment flooded with light does not suddenly make someone productive :LOL:

Outfit ideas for when we have nothing to wear..... expensive tit we don't own apparently.


The bright pink shirt looks beautiful on her, so does the dress that she says isn't very her. The bright colours for Summer look great and suit her! Not a fan of the bland shapeless things or the socks with sandals. The linen shirt and shorts set is one of the ugliest expensive items I've ever seen.
