I can only dream of these productivity levels.

Why has she posted "still inside" on her stories when a day ago she posted herself walking around London 🤔 fair there's no guidance to say you HAVE to isolate now but 1) it's rubbed me the wrong way that she's going out in public when she seemed cautious before and 2) why claim that you're stuck indoors when you're sharing that you're stomping round London. She just loves to moan

I'm pretty certain it's been over a year now.... and we still don't know what it is. Expecting a new chain of hotels or something, given how long its been in the making. It'll be something like stationery won't it? Something as underwhelming as the Zoella advent calendar.

In all seriousness maybe it's an app 🤷‍♀️
 
Re: her insta post from today... for someone who now sells presets ✨ , you'd think she'd be able to edit a photo so that it doesn't look like she hasn't slept for a month. The bags under her eyes...

Also loving the comment on the aforementioned post: "Why do you post about climate crisis when you eat meat and promote fast fashion". Which one of you was that? 😂
 
I don't get the comparison video today. Perhaps comparing cameras of varying price points would have been cool, but I don't think comparing a disposable camera to a proper camera is a relevant comparison. No one out there is thinking 'I'm going to buy a film camera but should I splash out on a decent one or keep buying disposable cameras and end up spending the same amount of money but with tit results?'. You can buy reasonably priced film cameras without repeatedly buying disposables, which is the conclusion Lucy comes to. The price of camera film and getting them developed is another thing.

I just don't really get who it's for 🤷‍♀️ maybe I've just missed the point entirely but it seemed like an excuse to advertise her own presets.
 
Warning: I'm feeling salty at my office job today!

Highlights from the ~chit chat~ from her Insta-stories today (7/25) which I would like to share and comment on, and I welcome your comments as well!:
  • Complains about the decline in her engagement on Instagram; covers up her complaining by saying her other influencer friends have noticed the same drop and if you're a small business owner using Instagram she's sending love (lmao?!)
    • The way she frames the decline passes off the blame to users (i.e., you and me!) for not spending enough time on Instagram. Surely can't be the content creators (I use the term loosely, especially with Lucy)
    • Uses anecdotal evidence (her opinion, no stats) to state that people are spending less time on Instagram
    • Does not address the fact that her engagement has declined likely due to her lack of consistent posting on Instagram and YouTube. She only posted consistently recently due to the presets drop
    • Not the first time she's complained about her lack of engagement. I don't have a lot of sympathy for influencers who've made a career out of posting on social media who then turn around and complain about it, especially with Lucy since she does it more than any influencer I follow!
    • Funny to see where her mind is at... She thinks it's the algorithm and doesn't seem to think of any solutions for it. Maybe post more, Lucy. It's kind of your job............
  • Rental crisis in London - I won't comment as I'm not a renter in London
    • We're looking to move: Moving in with Jack, perhaps? Or maybe just her current roommate since Jack seems quite content living with the boys Disregard! She already lives with him.
    • I do appreciate she's discussing house unaffordability since it's such a huge issue right now across a lot of cities these days
    • The lack of engagement likely ties to her housing stress since if she's making less money, she can't afford these places. I think it's been mentioned before in this thread, but I think Lucy would benefit from getting a job, even a part-time job
  • Somethings I'd love for her to address, instead of complaining:
    • Her Bitcoin/crypto investments following the crash
    • Whatever happened to that director job she so coyly mentioned some time ago
    • Why she keeps leaving out the #AD or #GIFTED in her Insta-stories, or trying to hide it near the X or in font that's barely visible

Just watching her newest video, which is another undisclosed AD. I'm not sure what I even just watched. Some random vloggy bits then a weird chat at the end. Why is she moving? What is that glasses chain? Why does she think its OK to film inside other people's flats when viewing them?

She's the only influencer I watch who talks as if they're imparting some serious wisdom regardless of what she's talking about. She doesn't like a dress that she liked a year ago, which is somehow the catalyst for a serious discussion with emotional music. "Now is this pivotal moment where friends start having kids and getting married and it kind of all starts around now for people in London". Is London completely different to everywhere else in the UK!? More talk about "getting sober" as well.
 
Ahh lads I can’t even make it 2 mins into the video without rolling my eyes. She’s stressed because she is going to a gallery and has to remember to take photos using 2 cameras while vlogging. This girl doesn’t live in the real world if she thinks that’s a stressful job.
And her breakdown over the revelation that she’s changed and grown so much and that time is passing is triggered by… her wearing a dress that was her style a year ago but isn’t anymore (wow such growth).
She is a like a privileged child with no self awareness
 
I know she mentioned her rent increasing but what is it with Lucy and never being able to stay in the same flat for more than a year. She's bounced around so much it's hard to keep track.

Latest video posted at a random time on a Monday..? Clearly because it's an add and she wasn't organised enough to post at the weekend. Going to try and watch it now but from the above comments I'm sure it'll be a struggle 😬
 
The thing with her flat going up in price is that it was half expected. They got the flat cheaper due to landlords dropping their ask out of desperation. It was always going to increase as things went back to normal. Yes landlords overwhelmingly suck but her and jack knew they were lucky with what they could get in their price range at the time as rent prices dropped.

Now she’s gotten used to a certain standard of living accommodation she’ll be disappointed with anything else.
